One strike. Two strikes. Three strikes. Each one came harder than the last. I could fight against it, but what was even the point? It wouldn't be that hard if I wanted to get out of this situation. I've been conserving my energy in not retaliating against these ass hats who have beat on me for the last two days. Even if I wanted to get free, there would be no point to it. I walked away from Saige for a reason, and despite how much I missed her, I needed to stick to that.
Being in this dungeon for two days has taught me a few things about myself. I've always known myself to be selfish, but now I know that wasn't the case. Saige was out there somewhere learning to become the woman she was always destined to be. The downside was that she was doing it with someone that wasn't me.
