The day after the engagement party, I woke up early. I could feel the happiness from last night still lingering in my chest. I kept thinking about Sophia, her smile, and the way she looked at me. She was my fiancée now, and soon she would be my wife. I wanted to surprise her with a special date, something she would enjoy. I thought about taking her to a nice restaurant and then maybe going to the mall since she loved shopping. It was my goal to make her happy.
