I woke with a start as the nightmare began.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
I glanced toward the clock and noticed only fifteen minutes had passed since I made Paula leave.
I leaned back on the couch and sighed, letting my eyes go to the ceiling.
The nightmare started again. I was tied up like usual, but this time it was Jax who stabbed me in the stomach, not Riley.
My head was spinning and hurting.
I was losing it.
