Gideon

“ Fu*k, I hate this, Justin,” I said through my gritted teeth. I never liked business parties. All I wanted was to come into human territory to meet my mate and make her come with me. The angry words she had said in the morning on the phone are still playing in my mind constantly.

“ You know what I will do to you, right?” I asked Justin who nodded his head with a smile on his face.

“ Relax man. She isn't running anywhere. This is important for your image in humans. You are a business tycoon,” he said.

“ You have to attend a few parties and you know this is important. You are here to build a connection with a Moroccan prince to expand the company,” he added. I hate him. I know how much this prince is for my business but I couldn't just get my head into anything. A chain of curses left Justin's mouth as he looked down at his phone.

“ What?” I asked with annoyance at the fact how models were throwing hints.

“ He isn't coming here. He will have a meeting with you directly at the company,” he replied. Closing my eyes I took a deep breath and when I opened them I put the glass aside because I knew I would break it in a fit of anger.

“ She is here,” Zeus said in my head as he stood up and pacing back and forth in my mind. Then I caught her scent. Every hair on my body stood up as soon as her scent hit my nostrils.

I took a deep breath, closing my eyes before I faced the entrance of the hall where she stood with Mike, one of my business partners who also happened to be a human. A low growl rumbled in my chest looking at her hand in his.

“ Calm down, Gideon,” Justin said, holding my hand.

“ He has his hand all over my mate and you are telling me to calm down?” I said to him through my clenched teeth.

“ I am gonna knock him out if he didn't take away his hand from my mate's back,” Zeus said in my head, snarling at him.

“ don't make a scene here, Gideon. It is not good for your image and the company,” Justin said, his voice was full of warning.

“ F*ck my image,” I said, lifting the wine glass up. I stared at her untill she looked back and lock her eyes with me. I smirked seeing her panicked.

“ I am definitely going to make a scene,” I added before chugging the wine. I placed the glass on the table and walked towards her.

“ Gideon, no. There is a plenty of chances,” Justin said from behind and when I didn't listened to him he cursed under his breath.

She was trying to go away from me but I won't let that happen again even if I had go to am extreme length.

“ Ms. More,” I said as soon as she turned her back at me and was about to walk away. I saw her stiffened before she turned around.

“ Yes?” She asked narrowing my her eyes at me as if she doesn't know me. If she wants to play, then let's play.

“ you know him?” William and Mike both asked at the same time. I didn't missed willam’s reaction and how his wife's eyes went wide seeing me here.

“ No.”

“ Yes.”

We both replied at the same time but our answers were different.

“ We had met four day ago at the royal ball,” I said reminding her when she clearly remembers everything.

“ ah Yes, nice to meet you again, sir,” she said.

“ Please excuse me,” she added quickly.

“ I am here to apologise to you,” I said, holding her wrist. I could hear the round of gasps coming from the crowd around us.

“ For kissing you that day,” I said. She gasped as her heart rate goes up. She turned around to warn me with her stern look but it only made me amused.

“ What?” Mike asked in disbelief looking at her and then at me with accusing eyes.

“ He kissed you?” Willam's wife tina intervene. I could understand since she is the luna of crescent moon pack.

“ are you okay?” Mike asked when he saw her sweating profusely.

“ Umm yeah yeah. I am just a bit dizzy maybe. Can you take me home, Mike?” She asked him.

“ there's no need for him to take you home,” I said pulling her to my chest.

“ I certainly can,” I added.

“ I took her here and it is my duty to follow it to send her home as well,” he said. He was angry and everyone could see that. If he has a thing for my mate well, then it's over she is mine now.

“ I am sorry but I don't know you and I am not going anywhere with you,” Mia said pushing me away. I looked down at her to see she was already looking up at me and she is pissed.

“ You should have listened to you father's advice,” I said lowering my voice. My patience was slipping away with Every passing second and everytime she mentions Mike to take care of her.

“ Leave me alone,” she said emphasizing each and every word.

“ I don't want to be called a home wrecker,” she added.

“ You are not,” I replied my voice softened seeing, tears pooling in her eyes.

“ leave me,” she repeated her words, struggling to get out of my hold.

“ I did said that I am coming for you, didn't i?” I asked looking into her eyes with a deadpanned look. She stopped, looking at me with a hateful look in her eyes.

“ And I had said I am not going anywhere with you,” she said, managed to pushed me away.

“ Leave her alone,” Mike said.

“ Mike, don't,” willam said as he clearly had and idea why I am so possessive of her.

“ she clearly doesn't want to go with you. Stop bothering her, Mr, Westwood,” he added.

“ don't!!!” I said, giving him a clear warning.

“ you are coming with me,” I said before I make her face me and lifting her in a bridal style. I walked away from. All those prying eyes with mia in my arms.

“ I am warning you, Gideon. Leave me and I can forget that this ever happened,” she said, struggling.

“ that's the problem strawberry, I dint want you to forget,” saying that I took her out of the building and into my car.

“ Handle everything,” I linked Justin who is furious at me right now.

I got into my car with her still in my arms. When she saw I wasn't going to let her go she initially stopped struggling and let me hold her to my chest.

“ I hate you,” she said with a soft sob escaping quivering lips.

I know you hate me right now. And I can't help you with that. Our situation made you hate me. But I promise I will make you fall in love with me. But for now let me love you and take care of you, i thought. Pulling her close to me and inhaling her intoxicating scent.
