Chapter 7

Mia

I let him hold me close to his chest through the town. I should not feel this way but I felt safe and content in his arms and for that I hated myself more than him.

“ I will tell someone to fetch your things from your apartment in human territory,” he said. Human territory? Fetch my things?

“ What?” I asked as I sat up straight on his lap.

“ You will live with me from today onwards,” he said, and from his expression and voice I could tell that he is serious.

“ I have told many times that I don't want to go anywhere,” I said, looking into his eyes.

“ hmmm,” he hummed in response before leaning into the back seat and closing his eyes. What the hell? What is wrong with this guy? I said something and he just ignored me?

“ Look, that kiss was a mistake,” I started.

“ But I really don't want to come in between you guys. I don't have any……. My words died down in my throat as soon as he closed his eyes. Fu*k me, how is that even possible? His eye colour changed.

“ Don't ever say that again. I am warning you,” he said through his clenched jaws.

“ And whatever misunderstanding you have we will clear that once we arrive at the pack house,” he added quickly. He looked at me for a few seconds before he lifted me and made me sit on his lap. My eyes went wide, realising I was straddling him.

“ You are my mate and you are coming with me,” he deadpanned. I couldn't form any words as I only stared into his eyes.

He looked at my face for a moment before pulling me to his chest and burying his nose in the crock of my neck, inhaling deeply.

“ Delicious,” he said in his husky voice.

The tension between us was erased and replaced by something else. I won't lie, it was aching down there.

“ I would have made you mine if you weren't a human,” he mumbled.

“ Aren't you a human yourself?” I asked, biting back a moan.

“ You will find out soon,” he replied, placing a soft kiss on my shoulder blade, making me shudder. I clutched his shirt tightly in my hand, closing my eyes. He is hard as a rock and it was rubbing my entrance.

“ Alpha, we are here,” the driver said as he stopped the car abruptly. He groaned in frustration before making me sit beside him.

“ Mark my words, try anything funny and you with consequences,” he said, straightening his suit.

“ Remember my words as well. I won't stay here for long,” I said. And just like that it was gone, whatever this was going on in between us.

I could feel his smirk but he didn't say anything. He got out of the car, and walked by my side. He swung the door open and before I could get out, he scooped me off of my seat in a bridal style before standing up straight.

“ Put me down,” I said, gritting my teeth. As usual my words fell on deaf ears as he started walking towards the massive mansion with me in his arms.

He stopped, reaching the front door and looked at me for a second before he put me down.

“ Walk, don't make me chase you, strawberry. I swear I am going to enjoy a good chase. But you won't like it after I catch you,” he said in a warning tone. We will definitely see about that, I thought.

“ Mia,” I heard my father's voice as soon as I entered the house.

“ Dad,” I ran up to him. My eyes teared up seeing him in here. He must have threatened him as well.

“ Are you okay?” I asked.

“ I am fine. Dint worry about me. How… how are you?” He asked with hesitation as he kept looking at Gideon.

“ Dad, I don't want to be here,” I said, letting go of my emotions finally. Tears streamed from my eyes as I shook my head.

“ Please, dad. You know I can't,” I said.

“ Mia. You….

“ You have three days to tell her everything and prepare her for the luna ceremony,” Gideon said his voice stern and cold. I knew he threatened my father to make me stay with him.

“ Please,” I begged him.

“ i shouldn't have taken you to the human territory,” he mumbled his voice was full of regret and in his eyes there were unshed tears.

“ Alpha, give us a few days and I promise I will tell her everything,” he said.

“ You better,” Gideon replied.

“ I will never submit to your request whatever it is,” i yelled at him.

“ You better prepare yourself then,” he said, almost immediately with a sinister look on his face.

“ I love a good challenge,” he added.

“ I am leaving this place,” saying that I turned around to ran away but he was way faster then me. Gideon caught my hand and threw me over his shoulder.

“ you are not going anywhere,” he growled. He literally growled, he is a human, how can he do that? My whole body went stiff hearing the animalistic sound.

“ This is your final warning,” he said, waking to God knows wherever. Not after long he made me sit on a soft mattress. With one glance i knew where I am.

“ If you ever try to escape believe me or not your father will bear the consequences,” he deadpanned. The temperature of the room dropped.

His words send a chilling sensation down my spine.

Then I saw him bending and leaning towards me.

“ I hope you will understand before you try to do anything funny think about your father,” he whispered.

“ what have I ever did to you?” I asked, looking straight into his eyes. I have never met him yet he is going all possessive over me. His every word his every actions making me hate him even more.

“ Nothing,” he replied, his eyes softened visibly.

With a sigh he leaned forward before placing a soft kiss on my forehead before he stood up and turned around walking out of the room. I sat there in daze for a long time before my body gave up.
