Henry’s pov
I give Harriet the chance to get back to her room before turning again to our parents, I have not been this angry in as long as I can remember. I still can not believe they would do this to their own daughter and then try and justify their actions in front of her.
“I have never been more ashamed to be your son, I thought what I did and said the day she left was the worst thing that could be done to her by us, but I was wrong. I realised pretty quickly after she left that Gregor had used all of us to isolate her so he didn’t have to feel guilty. You both failed as her parents, then by doing nothing to help her, and now you have just destroyed any chance you had to get a relationship with her ever again” I say coldly.
