Sapphire knocked on Tanisha's door, waiting for her to show up. She looked around till then, and her gaze met Ava's, who was standing outside her dorm room. Sapphire's eyes widened slightly, and before she could react, Ava chose to look away. She walked inside her room and closed the door, allowing Sapphire to heave a sigh of relief.
Tanisha opened the door of her room, and immediately frowned when she saw her.
"You again," she said softly.
"Yeah," Sapphire nodded timidly. "Can we talk?"
"What is it?" Tanisha questioned, stepping outside.
"I... Is there something between Ace and Ava?"
"What?" Tanisha asked. "This thing again?"
"Look, I know I should ask him directly, but he's gonna deny it. I know for sure. You're... You're Ava's best friend. Please tell me the truth," Sapphir
