"Adrian, I'm here for you," I said with determination, stepping towards him. But Ace caught hold of my hand, his narrowed gaze stuck on him. I glared up at him, struggling to pull my hand out of his grip. But he did not budge.
"Really, Ace?" Aisha stared at him in disbelief. "Let her go."
"This is between us," Ace said calmly. "I'll come back in a while. You go enjoy the movie."
"No, I won't," Aisha scowled. "What on Earth is going on here?"
