Not much had changed in the alpha house since I left. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was expecting. My sister and I had been gone for a couple of years, but we weren’t gone that long. The alpha showed us to his office and I noted some of my old schoolmates rushing about to grab chairs. They were omegas now and it didn’t surprise me.
Most of our pack members were omegas. They were strong enough to become warriors, but we had always had Master Lucas’s pack as an ally, so our alpha didn’t want to train too many warriors if they were going to be trained by the master.
“Now, what is this record you want to set straight?” My old alpha frowned as soon as we were all seated. It was clear that he wanted us out of there as soon as possible. Caleb senior explained that the textbook was a lie.
