An entire weekend had passed since that incident in the caverns. Xander had stuck to his word and he made sure to give me my space. I was careful not to draw any attention to ourselves by giving the pack something to gossip about.
I woke up really early and headed out of my room before anyone was up and I made sure no one was in my surroundings to see me go to my room to sleep. The first day was difficult because everyone wanted to get to see me and ask me about my trip. I didn’t tell them much and I left out my powers. An hour past midnight, Xander’s aunt was still pestering me with questions. I barely got any sleep that day.
