I hadn’t realized I was asleep until I saw myself laying on the floor of the cavern, almost too still to be sure I was alive. The thought of me dead put my nerves on edge. I couldn’t be dead, could I? As I looked at my body from afar, it was getting harder to convince myself I was still alive.
I didn’t know why this was happening, all I could remember was me feeling exhausted after my swim in the fall and the adrenaline pumping through my body and then… the light in the cavern. The one I had touched with my snout. It was gone now, and I was trapped in some other kind of dimension.
