HELENA I felt the pain before I could begin to imagine what was happening. I was shivering and laying on my bed with a pain that resembled cramps. Contractions, I realized in disbelief and I quickly bolted to my feet and headed for Xander’s room. He barely came out unless there was something to discuss. His office was rarely occupied, and wolves whispered about Callie being sick in her room.
