36 - The Journey Continues

Jax     I woke-up before Alana and our son.  To ensure the area was still safe, I left the tent and quietly searched the forest around us.     Once I was confident there wasn’t anything to be worried about, I searched for some food to get the day started with.  After a few short minutes, I came across a large hare and immediately went into predator mode.  I stalked the hare for a few minutes until it stopped to graze on a patch of brush, then I went in for the kill.     With the hare dangling from between my canines, I returned to our temporary camp and started another small fire.  As I cooked the hare over the open fire, I watched the sun begin to peak over the horizon, creating a beautiful display of colors for my eyes to admire.     I wanted Alana to also enjoy the spectacular view,
