King Silas “You had better keep that promise,” Alana sassily spat before jerking away from me and running out of the tent. Thinking she was trying to get away, I immediately chased after her, but I stopped short when I saw she was running toward my warriors instead of away from there. I casually followed while observing my mate. As soon as she reached my warriors, she snatched her cub away from the one holding him and hatefully hissed, “Don’t ever put your grubby paws on my cub again!” My warrior glared at her for just a second, then he glanced at me. Not wanting to go against her right away, I threw my hands up and shrugged my shoulders to let him know what she had said was final for the time being. Of course, that would change in the future once she realized we
