Chapter 6 The New Game Part 2

(POV Desmond)

I left my dad's office and I can't believe the way he was acting. How was I supposed to know that's why he was protecting

the freak. Donnis growls in my head, don't call mate a freak. They are beautiful. Shut up Donnis. I did the right thing by rejecting Amethyst. You didn't know that they were special either.

I knew Amethyst was living a protected life. I just thought it was because she was the freak child of the Betas. Growing up, we all made fun of her because she had purple eyes. Don't get me wrong, she was beautiful, but with those eyes that made her a freak. Don't call mate a freak, growls Donnis again.

Get over yourself, Donnis, she is a nobody and never will be our mate. I have chosen Seraphina Hodges as our mate and Luna. I know Donnis doesn't like Seraphina. Why does he dislike her, only he knows. She is a better fit for a Luna, not to mention a great roll in the hay.

So quit your whining, Donnis growls and seeps further into the back of my mind and I put up my block, so I don't have

listen to his whining and deal with his bs.

I was so glad that I finally came up with an idea that would shut my father up. Sometimes I swear he's worse than Donnis or a toddler. Do I want to be near Amethyst? Hell no. But at least this way, I get to be with Seraphina and my dad gets what he wants, by keeping that freak around the pack. I don't care as long as I don't have to deal with the hag.

When I opened the door to my bedroom, Seraphina was lying on my bed looking sexy as always. She's wearing my favorite lacy bra and panties. With just one look, I'm as hard as sh*t. And I can't wait to be inside her releasing my stress.

I didn't think you would ever get back. What was so important that your dad had you in his office for so long? Seraphina asked.

I told her that dad was wanting me to take the rejection back and accept Amethyst as my mate. Seraphina's eyes turned red, and I knew her wolf Sandra was on the surface. Hold on babe, I told dad that she accepted the rejection and I have taken you as my chosen mate and Luna. She sighed with relief,

I recounted every word that went on between me and my dad. She wasn't thrilled, but she knew we needed to keep Amethyst tied to the pack. Seraphina made it clear she would keep an eye on the freak. She didn't trust Amethyst. To Seraphina even though she heard Amethyst accept the rejection, she's still worried my dad will make me take Amethyst as my mate. What dad doesn't know, as much as I love him, I will get rid of him and the freak. I don't know why he won't go ahead and step down. He was supposed to when I turned 18. Now I'm 21 and the old fart hasn't stepped down.

Babe, let's forget about my dad and Amethyst will all her freakiness and enjoy the rest of the night. I needed a release, and she knew what I wanted, as I dropped my pants and I removed her lacy garments. The next hour was filled with the hottest s*x, and I forgot all about the mess.

Dad woke me up screaming through the mind link for me to get myself showered and dressed. He had sent a mind link to Beta Jessie, and Amethyst would be in his office in 2 hours. I looked over to Seraphina, she was snoring up a storm. Damn, that's the only draw back to her. That sound is annoying. Boy, I can't wait to see the look on Amethyst's face when dad tells her we want to make her Head Enforcers.

I get up from my bed and walk to the shower. I didn't take as long to shower and dress. I mean there isn't anything special about this meeting. Amethyst loves her parents more than anything, so I'm pretty sure she will accept the position. Because if she doesn't, dad will more than likely do away with her where she will never be found or seen again. Now I can live with that even more.

After I got dressed, I walked over to the bed and kissed Seraphina on the cheek. I tell her I'm going down to the dining hall to get a quick bite to eat, then head to dad's office to get this farce over with. She tells me good luck, she was going to sleep a little longer.

I go down to the dining hall, and I am greeted by the pack when I walk in. The first thing I grab is a large cup of coffee because I am going to need it, to keep my nerves calm. I fill my plate with sausage, bacon, eggs and toast. Then I head to the elevator. Press the button to go to dad's office.

I tell dad good morning and sit down. He tells me to remember to let him do all the talking. For me to speak when he says I can. In other words, he means that I am to sit on my happy ass and just smile and nod. This is going to be a very long couple of hours, and I mean a long wait.
