“Hey”, I smiled while taking the call that I received from Vanessa. “Where are you?” I immediately straightened my back on my chair when I heard her anxious voice. “I am at my room in my office. What’s wrong?” I immediately asked her. I heard her sigh aloud. “I am coming to fetch you. Don’t go out no matter what happens, okay?” I furrowed my brows at her tone. “Okay”, I said but I couldn’t understand what made her so worried that she didn’t want me to leave my room.
I heard a knock on the door and asked the person to come inside. Hugh peeked inside first and then came inside the room. “Yeah, Hugh”, I asked him while putting my phone back on the table. “Some investors want to meet your father but he is in a meeting right now”, he told me and I nodded. “Okay… then let’s go
