Twin Alpha step daddy's?
Alessandra I stood under the cold mountain water, the waterfall cascading around me. This was my secret place—somewhere I could roam freely without fear of anyone coming here. At least no wolves would intervene in my rare moments of human solitude. Yes, I am a human in this wolf world. I don't know how, but my adoptive father, Jade Andros, Alpha of the Moon Dust pack, found me and brought me into his home. He and his mate couldn't conceive, so they adopted me. But his mate, Larissa Andros, wasn’t like him. She would have gladly accepted a wolf pup, but a human? She loathed the fact that Dad had even given me his name. Fast forward to my tenth birthday, life was good—until it wasn’t. I was stripped of my father’s love when he was killed by a rogue on the way home—or at least, that's what the pack soldiers said. But no body was ever found. As much as I knew, wolves could kill each other, but they didn’t devour their own, and no other animals existed in this realm to make them vanish. If I were a wolf, I might have investigated. But as a human? I was only criticized. Wolves held immense power over humans. As a human, I was strong—for a human—but compared to wolves, I was petite, even smaller than most Omegas. After my father's death, life turned 360 degrees. Larissa and I were cast out of the pack by his brother, who forcibly claimed the throne. She hated me even more then. Losing her mate and her status wasn’t enough; now, all her bitterness was aimed at me. But that wasn’t the worst part. She started going around with other males—both from our pack and others. At first, it seemed like survival, but soon it became a habit. Sometimes an Alpha from another pack would take her in until they found their true mate, then toss her aside. And every time she fell, her wrath fell harder on me. At first, it was verbal. Then it became physical. And it didn’t stop with her. Her so-called "boyfriends" started abusing me too. There were moments when they tried to defile me, but a swift kick to the groin saved me more times than I could count. I was stripped of all basic needs. I had to work day and night to feed myself, to gather even the most necessary items. Education was a privilege I didn’t have—but I had a charm, an ability to make people like me, and sometimes they'd teach me for free. But switching packs so often made it hard to stay consistent. And once again, we were about to move. Hopefully, for the last time. Because soon, I would turn eighteen. And eighteen meant freedom. I don’t know what my adoptive father thought when he wrote it down, but the day I turned eighteen, I would be free. That meant I could cross into the human realm, right? Leave this world and all its painful memories behind. Wolves being endangered? Not my problem. I hissed as the cold water ran over my wounds, washing away blood—if there was any left. I had no showers, no luxuries. But rivers made it bearable. Surprisingly, although I never properly learned how to swim, I could still manage somehow. Most wolves weren’t afraid of water—but there was a curse. Some packs couldn't use river water freely, and Moon Dust Pack was one of them. So the chance of running into a wolf here was near zero. Still, I didn’t dare strip naked—you never knew who might show up. After the numbness dulled my pain, I stepped out of the water and immediately felt a chill. Not from the cold. From being watched. I froze in place, my heart thundering. I scanned the trees but saw nothing. Still, my gut told me I wasn’t alone. Changing clothes here was out of the question. Staying here even more dangerous. I quickly grabbed the freshly washed clothes of my mother and my dried ones and hurried home. I could just tell her I fell into the river while washing. The eerie feeling of being watched never faded during my walk home. Sometimes I heard twigs breaking. I spun around multiple times, but there was no one. Maybe I was paranoid—but instincts were rarely wrong. Finally, I reached the house. God must’ve been on my side because Larissa wasn’t home yet. After hanging the wet clothes outside, I dashed into my "room"—the storeroom beside the kitchen. A battered mattress, an old chair holding a few belongings, and a suitcase always packed for our next move. That was my life. I changed into dry clothes and quickly folded everything away. We were leaving today—for Silver Moon Pack. Silver Moon Pack. Their name reflected their unique alliance with the Fae Realm and witches. They were immune to silver, unlike other packs, though wolfsbane remained deadly. They were known as the strongest pack. Somehow, Larissa managed to catch the eye of their Alpha. Apparently, they still hadn’t found their true Luna despite the Alpha being twenty-seven. Their lineage was at risk, and Larissa, ever the opportunist, swooped in. I sighed and packed Larissa’s bag too. If I didn’t, she would beat me anyway—and even if I did, she might still find an excuse. As I finished, the door slammed open. "Is it done yet, b***h? The car’s already here!!!" she screamed in my face. "Just the wet clothes outside, ma'am... It'll take five minutes—" The sharp slap to my face sent me reeling. "Useless piece of s**t! Why are the clothes still wet?! What were you doing, whoring around, you loose b***h?!" Funny. She was describing herself more accurately. She grabbed my hair and threw me onto the floor, kicking me hard. I groaned, still sore from the morning beating. She probably made out with the driver before coming home too. My mind was racing with furious thoughts. Larissa finally stopped, smoothing her hair, fixing her makeup, and smiling like a viper. "I don't need those filthy clothes anymore," she sneered. "I'm going to be the Luna of Silver Moon Pack. I’ll be powerful. Rich." My fists clenched. I’d washed those clothes, bled for them—and now they were trash? She gleamed at the thought but turned back to me with hate. "Just get in the car and behave. If I catch you whoring around, your death will be in my hands. And dress properly. I can’t piss off my Alphas on the very first day because of you." Bitch, that’s literally your specialty. Meanwhile, I was still a virgin! Wait—Alphas? Plural? A dress was thrown at me. Thankfully, it was a decent one—a white dress with blue and ivory floral patterns that fell below the knees. I even had the perfect heels I had thrifted once. Thank God it had full sleeves to hide the bruises. I changed quickly and walked outside. An expensive black car was parked there. Its windows were tinted, but through them, I could still see two people making out in the front seat. Of course—Larissa and the driver. I knocked on the window. After some groaning, the door was unlocked, and I slid into the back seat. The driver tried to wipe away the lipstick stains while Larissa shamelessly reapplied her bold red lipstick. Classy. We drove for about an hour, passing two packs before finally entering Silver Moon Pack’s territory. Something about this place made my instincts scream—just like that morning. After another half an hour, we pulled up to a massive four-story mansion. We stepped out. A man in his forties was already waiting for us. He led Larissa inside while I kept my head low, lingering a few steps behind her. I heard guards hissing under their breaths—disapproval dripping from their looks. We entered a vast living room and stopped. "Alpha Colton, Miss Larissa—" the older man began but fell silent. I heard another pair of footsteps entering. "Oh, my Alphas..." Larissa purred. "I'm Larissa, your Luna." Her voice dripped flirtation. "A human? Your daughter?" a deep, commanding voice asked, making my knees go weak. Larissa panicked. "No, no, no! She’s not my daughter—she’s my stepdaughter, adopted by my late husband!" I felt that same eerie sensation. Compelled, I lifted my gaze. And locked eyes with the most mesmerizing pair of cold, blue eyes staring straight through me. My eyes darted to his right—and I gasped. The same face. Twins? A sharp pinch on my waist snapped me back—Larissa’s warning glare followed by her fake smile. "Meet your step-daddies, honey," she said sweetly. "Alpha Wylon and Alpha Colton." My eyes widened. Oh. So. Twin Alpha Step-Daddies?
