"Just a few more days, hang in there, okay?" Leslie brought the medicine to Broderick's lips. Broderick, trying to keep it cool, said casually, "Just leave it there. I'll take it myself in a bit." But Leslie suddenly leaned in, her whole body almost draped over him. Being this close, her sweet scent mixed with the bitter smell of medicine drifted into Broderick's nose. And that soft, delicate body pressing against him? Yeah, kinda hard to ignore. His face immediately darkened. "Leslie!" He called out in a low, gravelly voice-deep and magnetic-but it didn't faze her in the slightest. The bowl was pretty full, so if he pushed her away now, the medicine would spill, and he'd be the one cleaning up the mess. "What?" Leslie knew he was mad but played dumb anyway.
