"Alexandra, wake up darling. You guys leave in two hours." My mom's voice rings through my ear as her icy hands shake my bare shoulder.
I groan out and pull my pillow closer to my face and bury it inside. I hear my mom sigh before I hear some shuffling. I smile as she is gone.
'I can finally finish my dream where Jamie Dornan and I are married.'
My blankets get thrown off of me and then an icy feeling spreads throughout my body causing my sports bra to stick to my boobs and my spandex on my waist. I jump up and look around my eyes catching my mom's amused look. I glare at her causing her to put the bucket down and cross her arms over her chest.
"Get ready. This is the last time I'm telling you. Or else you're grounded."
I mumble some colorful words that shouldn't be said about your mother and make my way to my closet. I took a shower last night so I don't have to worry about getting cold water because of Ryan and her "shower time" with Ace. Only God knows what they do in there.
I pull out maroon and purple crop top and a grey cardigan with black skinny jeans. I put them on after drying my body and walk back into my bathroom and plug in my wand.
When I'm done with my hair and my makeup, I go downstairs and enter a kitchen full of chatter and squeals. I roll my eyes as Ryan continues on kissing my parents cheeks to show that she is thanking them for this getaway that I, unfortunately, have to go to. But at least Beth and Robbie will be there with me.
If you don't know, Robbie is my other best friend. He is gay and he's probably the only diva guy I know.
"Are you done staring?" Ryan snaps as she turns to me and glares.
I hold my hands up and walk backward. She rolls her eyes before turning her attention back to our parents. I roll my eyes and go outside and wait for Robbie and Bethenny. The only good thing about today is that I don't have to drive with the two ass hats.
I put my hand against the wall and look at the corner of our street where Bethenny and Robbie will be turning any minute. The cold breeze blows through my hair causing me to get goosebumps through my cardigan.
"Hey, Alex." A voice says causing me to jump and turn around.
Ace stands there wearing a black t-shirt with a green jacket and black denim jeans. I roll my eyes and turn back around and lean against the wall and watch as different cars pass by.
"What do you want Ace."
I can hear his footsteps from behind me and from the corner of my eye he gets into view and leans against the other wall opposite of the one I lean against.
"I wanted to say thank you. You know for coming with Ryan and me to the beach house. I don't know what I would do if you didn't go."
I turn and cross my arms over my chest and glare at him. He is such an i***t if he thinks I really wanted to go to the stupid beach house with them.
"I didn't do this for you two or because I wanted to. I am going because I'm forced to." I spat.
"Yeah about that I-"
A honk stops him mid-sentence and I turn and smile as I see my two best friends waving from Robbie's purple convertible. I bend over and grab my bag that I brought out last night and walk over to the car leaving Ace in the dust. When I get to the car I'm involved in Robbie's horrible music.
"Hey girly! You excited?" He squeals turning his stereo down.
I roll my eyes at him but put on a fake smile.
"Of course!"
Robbie and Bethenny let out a chuckle and Robbie turns and hands me a pair of black sunglasses. I smile and put them on and fix my hair so that it isn't pushed back and over the glasses.
"We thought we'd stop to eat some food before heading to the beach house. We knew Ryan wouldn't eat until later at night." Bethenny says looking out the window.
I nod my head and turn to get my seatbelt. As I do, I lock gazes with Ace before Robbie pulls away from my curb and down the street.
