Kathy’s POV
I don’t think Mathias's plan will work, but at least I will hurt Isabella. Even if it is for a second, she will want to die herself, and then I’m going to hurt Jensen, even if Mathias doesn’t approve.
As I thought about it, a small, cruel smile tugged at the corners of my lips. Isabella’s weakness was her family—her precious mate, Liam (who was supposed to be mine), and that insufferable pup of hers, Jensen. If Mathias weren’t willing to go there, then I would. I didn’t care about his rules or his warnings. I had my own agenda, and it didn’t involve playing nice.
“Kathy,” Mathias’s sharp voice cut through my thoughts, pulling me back to the present. “Stop standing there like a statue and make yourself useful. The witch should be arriving soon, and you know what to do.”
