I hated Kathy, but perhaps I could get her to help me with Jared’s situation. If he had signed the divorce papers, I would have had one less problem to solve.
“Jared hates you; he would have signed those papers already; you must be asking for something and—”
“No, Kathy. I didn’t ask for anything; in fact, I renounced what his father left me, which in return benefits you. If Jensen is recognized as Jared’s kid, my baby will get the pack to himself. Considering that Jared lost the challenge, I guess your pack belongs to Liam now.” That upset her again.
“It seems she didn’t think her plan through,” Tammie chuckled.
“She is not the brightest bulb,” I added. I had no idea how she was able to trick Jared for so long, but Kathy was not a big mastermind behind a plot.
