The cafeteria was a little noisy today but sitting with Luke in our usual quiet corner felt almost peaceful.
He was talking about a new restaurant that open and if I was free Sunday night and we could maybe grab dinner.
Luke is a nice and sweet guy but definitely not my type, better still I don’t plan on getting myself into another relationship not when I’ve not recovered from the one I left.
“I’ll check in with my schedule” I say cutting him off from finding ways to convince me.
He lets out a sigh before nodding.
My mind drifted back to Ares, about the intense perfect night we had shared two days back, and true to his words, he didn’t let me off the hook till I could barely even stand on my feet.
Heat creeped up my core at the thought of it.
I gulped a lump.
