THE LEGENDARY STORY OF INAMORTA ?

(continue of the ancient ruins cave )

The stupid cave lurker swung one of its legs towards Grendale. Acting quickly Grendale dodged it and went to the other side.

It once again tried to smash him. But again Grendale dodged it and jumped to the opposite side. The cave lurker roared and swung three legs towards him. Grendale swiftly doged all three and kept himself safe from its attack. How long could he keep dodging it...he would soon run out of energy and options to escape.

Before he could come with a plan one of the legs caught him in surprise attack and sent him crashing to the wall. As soon as he hit the wall the torch went flying out of his hands and fell down on a ledge high above the dead end wall.

Seeing a way to survive the creature Grendale quickly got up and turned to face the lurker. If he can somehow managed to get the cave lurker near to the dead end wall he can jump upon it and get to safety. He noticed a few rocks here and there. Running quick and fast and dodging the legs Grendale quickly rounded up the rocks and piled it near the wall.

The cave lurker roared and slammed it's legs towards him. This time instead of dodging the leg Grendale allowed himself to be smashed. He went and hit the wall hard and fell down. The lurker expecting him to be dead went to pick his body up, but within a fraction of a second Grendale swung around and chopped off it's legs.

SKREEEEEAAAKK!!! The lurker screamed and staggered backwards black blood spilling from its severed legs. Grendale swiftly got up and stared back at its blue eyes. For the last attempt the lurker summoned all its energy and pounced towards the warrior. It was about to reach him when he simply moved away from its pounce line and it crashed headlong into the rock pile.

It fell down unconscious. Grendale quickly jumped upon it and reached the ledge. Fortunately the torch was still aflame. He waved the torch around and found steps just a little distance away. When he reached the top he saw light a little afar and followed it.

A little while later Grendale reached the chambers of the jail keeper. It was quite big and *cough* dusty. While looking around he noticed a parchment on the table. It was written by the jail keeper which said that monsters had attacked them and occupied the whole dungeons. All hope was lost until a bright spirit came and rescued them from between them.

Further reading, the letter said that the bright spirit went to the deepest underground vault and stated that a warrior will come this way and it had to give him something.
