"THIS CERTAINLY IS A STRANGE STATUE"

Crossing and jumping a few huge rocks here and there, the three reached the fallen pillars. The pillars were so ruffly fallen that no wonder the statue was hidden from view. " well, wha' now? How do we go through this?" asked the prince. Grendale was silent for a moment thinking. Then he turned to Goltimer and asked, " How did you say you were keeping company again?". " Uh.. Well after my first few months here i had once tried to catch a big rat for lunch. It was then when i was chasing it that it scurried into these pillars and i saw that statue." replied the golem. " When i first saw it i was very scared thinking it was a beast, but when i closely observed it that i noticed what it actually was. Then many a times i had tried to push through, lift off and even break down those pillars but in vain went my efforts. Those pillars are way stronger than me."
Looking for any route inside Grendale was looking all over the place when he spotted a gap big enough between two pillars to put something through. An idea snapped into his brain. He turned to the other two and hurriedly explained the plan. " If we can't find a route then we'll make one. We have to blast through them." Koda gasped, " Wha' are you sayin'.. How can we do that? We don't even have any such blasting weapons. And moreover not even Goltimer was able to push through then how shall we do it? we are not even beasts."
Grendale displayed his ring with a sly smile. " Lucky for us i have my master's gift. The elemental spell ring." " Oh goody. So we are saved" clapped the prince jumping with joy. Looking at both of them in turn Grendale released his orders. " I shall conjure a magic bomb and give it to you Goltimer. We'll have six seconds before it blows so by that time you have to push it through that gap over there, okay? Meanwhile prince Koda, you quickly go and find us a safe spot to hide when this blows. Lets check this statue out. Maybe the clue to the exit might be hidden with the statue."
The whole thing worked as smooth as lubricated. Koda ran around to find a hiding place and found one not far off. It was enclosed by huge and heavy boulders so provided a good cover protection. In the meantime Grendale concentrated and conjured a magic bolt and immediately thrust it into the waiting hands of Goltimer who stood near the gap and quickly pushed it through the gap. When the bomb was fully in both Grendale and the golem turned heels and ran to the hiding spot. They jumped in the nick of time when the whole pillar-blocked area blew open with a ear-splitting 'BOOM'...
*cough* *cough* *cough*.... When the dust and debris settled all three came out and went cautiously inside. So far so good. No beastie inside. It was a big round area just like the one you see in king's palaces when the king sits on his throne. But in this case there wasn't any throne but a big statue of an angle reaper. Taking in everything the trio came near to the statue. " This certainly is a strange statue", thought Grendale. Instead of a sickle the statue was holding a stone bowl with a magnificent blue crystal fixed in it. Strange. The crystal looked absolutely lifeless. Wondering what it could be when Grendale touched the crystal, the magic-bolt-spell stone started glowing brightly.on his finger.
Why was the stone glowing at the crystal? Was this a clue to something?
