THE LEGENDARY STORY OF INAMORTA ?

A PIECE-FUL FIND

After the dark minion dissolved into ashes Grendale sunk to the floor with heavy breathing due to his livid injuries. He spit the bad blood accumulated in his mouth and closed his eyes taking a moment to rest. When he finally opened his eyes he looked over at the minion's ashes and something shiny was glittering from it.

Heaving himself up with the help of the gate he slowly limped and approached it. Digging through the ashes Grendale found a strange emerald stone shaped like a kite. It was glowing slightly in his palm. Just then the second gate rattled taking him by surprise. But when he turned around there was nothing near the gate, not even a breeze. It was then when was looking for the rattler that he noticed a tiny slot carved above the gate in the same shape of the emerald stone.

This slot was also glowing same as the stone. Grendale carefully moved towards the slot. When he was within 6 feet to the gate the stone's glow increased and magically it jumped into the air and smoothly glided to the slot. As soon it fixed itself into its rightful place the gate gave a huge rattle and slowly creaking on its rusted hinges opened up to reveal the path to the floating platform.

Grendale timidly stepped in through the gates and approached the platform. A hand print was visible on the front and as soon as Grendale kept his hand on it a shock wave zapped him and he staggered backwards. When he was looking at his hand where it zapped him the hand print emitted a green glow and a slim glittery-looking veil of light emerged from it and glided towards Grendale.

He stepped back a little fearing it might harm him more but instead as soon as the veil touched him he felt a pleasant wave of energy weaving through him and mending all his injuries magically. He looked down at himself and was surprised seeing all his injuries and pains vanishing like dust blown in the wind. A few seconds later, fully recovered he once again approached the floating platform and pressed his hand to the hand-print. This time instead of getting zapped the hand-print glowed white and slowly the platform started descending.

When it finally touched the ground Grendale became confused on what he was seeing. There it was, a small glowing piece of what looked like a part of a big sword. Scratching his head in confusion he quietly lifted it and looked at it from all angles. Just then his 'researching moment' was interrupted by a swooshing ball of gas that floated from the ceiling to the floor and took the shape of Master Shifu.

Grendale came to Shifu and bowed to him. Blessing him Shifu smiled and said, " I am super proud of you my child. You did it. You reached the secret chamber safely and I can also I see you have gotten rid of the Dark minion too. Truly well done." Then eyeing the piece in his hand suddenly Shifu's eyes widened in fear.

What could this piece be? Why was Shifu shocked on seeing it?
