Is He Hallucinating??

Jared POV

I headed inside the hospital and I saw Christof sitting on a seat, lying his head behind with his eyes closed.

I sat beside him, and I put my one hand on his shoulders.

"Carlos, I told you not to bother me for sometime. What is it now?", He said.

"Carlos???, Why is he calling me Carlos", I said to myself.

"Christof it's me, Jared not Carlos!!"I replied, moving my hands from his shoulders and looking in another direction.

Christof sighed and he laid his head again behind the seat while closing his eyes.

"Is he trying to ignore me, am I not at all important to me? What happened to Christof, he never behaved like this before. At Least not with me, but I am not leaving without getting any answers' ', I said to myself.

"What are you doing here christof?", I asked him

"I am not in the state to tell you anything Jared please leave me alone for sometime, please", he said to me with his eyes closed.

"No Christof look at me, please look at me, because I need an explanation, and I need answers from you, please tell me everything", I said while placing my hand on my shoulder.

"Please ask Carlos everything, he will tell you what exactly happened", he said while pointing out towards the room In which Carlos was.

"So now I need to ask a stranger about my friend, I need to ask him what happened exactly, why can't you tell me Christof?", I asked him.

"Jared nothing's gonna change between us okay, everything is gonna remain the same, the only thing is that I am not in the state to share what is going on with me, I don't know it looks like I am losing it, I am losing my mind, please Jared I will talk to you later, ask Carlos, he was with me the entire time, he is in the state to tell you everything in detail", he replied.

"Okay I will ask him, but just tell me one thing why are you here?, I want to know it from your mouth not from Carlos", I said.

He opened his eyes and he turned towards me.

"I found Addison, I got to know she is here, that is why I am here, you would not believe me that she is alive that is why i didn't tell you anything, now do you wanna know anything else", he said with a cold voice.

I Couldn't believe what I just heard, is Christof hallucinating. Addison is dead. How can she be alive? That's impossible, I couldn't believe my ears.

"Take your time because I know you need to process the influence that I just told you", he told him.

I couldn't process what I just heard.

"I can't believe Addison is alive, and she was here, how did she reach here, is this a dream?"I said to him with disbelief.

"I want to be alone, Jared,'' he said to me while laying his head behind his seat.

"Where is she Christof?", I asked him.

"She is getting treated Carlos", he replied.

"I now seriously want to know everything that just happened, where is Carlos", I asked him.

He again pointed out towards the room where Carlos was.

"He is in that room, with a nurse, she is treating my baby", he said.

"Baby, how is this possible, this is impossible, things were happening so fast that I thought I might go crazy. Is Chrsitof really hallucinating, have created his own fake world", I said to myself

"Your baby???, Christof you mean Addisons and your baby!!!, How can this happen, oh my god everything is just happening so fast, I just can't imagine how all of this is possible!!!", I said with a surprised voice.

"Go and take a look for yourself, Jared,'' he said.

"They are in that room!", He added.

"Yes Christof I would love to see your baby. In that room right?", I asked him while pointing out to the room.

"Yes Jared, now please leave!!!", He replied.

I left and I entered the room, I saw that Carlos was standing facing his back towards me, he was rocking the baby, and humming while rocking the baby.

"So you babysit kids too!!", I asked him sarcastically while putting one of my hand in my pocket, taking a few steps towards him.

He turned behind, and he smiled.

"Hello jared", he said with a smile while rocking the baby.

"Hello me later Carlos, first tell me what is this, baby and all??, I looked at the baby and then at Carlos.

"This is Christof's baby, jared. Isn't she cute", he said while looking at the baby.

"Yes she is very cute Carlos, but how can you say that this is christof's baby".

"I had warned you not to stay close to Christof. Why are you with him?You don't love your life Carlos?", I asked him, taking a few steps towards him.

"Mr Nelson asked for my help, I knew where his wife was. I decided to help Mr Nelson because he helped me with the money and I am in debts of him, so I decided to help Mr Christof", he replied with a bold voice. He was not afraid of me anymore I just stared at him with anger. This man is trying to do something, how did he find Addison, and how can he say this is christof's baby.

"How did you know that Addison was here?".

"Who informed you that she is here?",

"No one informed me, I saved Addison. She was drowning so I saved her. I was on my boat at that time, and I saw a woman drowning. I had no idea that she was Mr Nelson's wife, or else I would have informed him about her. But I didn't know her true identity", he Replied.

"Where did you find her today?"I asked out of curiosity, because I wanted to know everything. I didn't know if he was lying or if he was telling me the truth

"In the tribal village, the villagers were taking care of her, they moved from that place and they moved here, so we were in search of them", he replied with confidence.

"Okay fine, and what about the baby?. How can you say that this is Christof's baby, this can be anyone's baby", I replied.

"That's Mr Nelson's baby not anyone's baby, the tribe handed this baby to us, they had saved this baby", he replied.

"They can also lie, we cannot trust them. I don't trust those villagers, they must have handed us some random baby, how can you say that this is Christof's baby?" I asked him

"The tribe never lies to me Mr Jared, so this is Mr Nelson's baby", I replied.

"We need to do a DNA test to make sure and confirm that this is Christof's baby", I said calmly, while taking a few steps towards him.

I stared at the baby for a few minutes.

"Are You serious!!! don't you have a heart Jared, look at this innocent one don't you feel pity for her, her mother is in the emergency room, and her father has not carried her in his arms, or has even looked at her properly. How can you be so heartless Jared ?,", He said to me in anger

"You are just too weak Carlos, you feel pity for anyone this is not the way the world works. You need to be tough, or else you are gonna never be able to move forward",I said, giving a wicked smile. I had to now just convince Christof to do a DNA test.

"If I have to change myself for the world, I am happy to stay behind and where I am, I would not change myself for this world, i am happy with myself and where I am, because I am happy", he replied, turning his face away from me.
