You Are Too Weak Carlos!!!

Carlos POV

"Take care of yourself sir, everything will get better", I said to him and I followed the nurse.

I entered the room and the nurse carried the baby from my hand.

There was a doctor In that same room, the nurse took the baby to the doctor.

The doctor began to check Christof's baby.

I headed towards the doctor, "how is the baby doctor, is she doing well?", I asked her while looking at the little one.

"Yes she is fit and fine, very healthy baby, what's her name?", She asked me while checking the baby.

"We have still not decided a name for her", I replied.

The doctor stopped checking the baby, and she removed the stethoscope from her ears.

"You have still not decided the name of the baby, the baby is one month old, and you have still not decided a name?", She said with a surprised expression..

"The baby's father will decide on a name for the baby", I said with an awkward smile.

"Who is the baby's father?, And where is the baby's mother?", She asked me.

"The baby's father is sitting outside, and the baby's mother is in the emergency room, she is getting treated", I replied.

"Oh my god!!, What happened to her?", She asked me.

"I don't know, the doctors are treating her inside, they will let us know soon!!", I said.

"Okay, I will have to do some tests, and then I can confirm if the baby is fine", she replied.

"Okay doctor", I replied back.

The doctor did some blood test and she handed the baby to me.

The doctor left the room.

I was rocking the little one in my arms.

"You are such a brave girl, you didn't cry while the doctor was giving you an injection, you are brave just like your dad" I said while rocking the baby.

She was smiling, it seemed that she could understand what I was telling her.

After a few minutes, Jared entered the room.

I was shocked to see him here.

"Hello Mr jared!!", I said.

"Hello me later, first tell me what are you doing here?, I had warned you not to stay close to christof. Why are you with him?You don't love your life Carlos?", He asked a few steps towards me.

"Mr Nelson asked for my help, I knew where his wife was. I decided to help Mr Nelson because he helped me with the money and I am in debt to him, so I decided to help Mr Christof", I replied with a bold voice.

I was not scared of Jared anymore, because I knew that he would not be able to harm me. I helped Christof find his wife, so Mr Nelson would forgive Jared if he harmed me.

"How did you know that Addison was here?".

"Who informed you that she is here?", He asked me.

"No one informed me, I saved Addison. She was drowning so I saved her. I was on my boat at that time, and I saw a woman drowning. I had no idea that she was Mr Nelson's wife, or else I would have informed him about her. But I didn't know her true identity", I Replied.

"Where did you find her today?", He asked me.

"In the tribal village, the villagers were taking care of her, they moved from that place and they moved here, so we were in search of them", I replied.

"Okay fine, and what about the baby?. How can you say that this is Christof's baby, this can be anyone's baby", he replied.

"This is Mr Nelson's baby not anyone's baby, the tribe handed this baby to us, they had saved this baby", I replied.

"They can also lie, we cannot trust them. I don't trust those villagers, they must have handed us some random baby, how can you say that this is Christof's baby?"He asked me.

"The tribe never lies to me Mr Jared, so this is Mr Nelson's baby", I replied.

"We need to do a DNA test to make sure and confirm that this is Christof's baby", he said calmly, while taking a few steps towards me.

He stared at the baby for a few minutes.

"Are You serious!!! don't you have a heart jared, look at this innocent one don't you feel pity for her, her mother in the emergency room, and her father has not carried her in his arms, or has even looked at her properly. How can you be so heartless, Jared ?,", I said to Him

"You are just too weak Carlos, you feel pity for anyone this is not the way the world works. You need to be tough, or else you are gonna never be able to move forward", he said by giving a wicked smile.

"If I have to change myself for the world, I am happy to stay behind and where I am, I would not change myself for this world. I am happy with myself and where I am, because I am happy", I replied, turning my face away from Jared.

I seriously didn't want to look at Jared, he was so heartless, he thinks that this is not Mr Nelson's baby, how can he be so heartless to say something Like this about the baby, I knew that the tribals would never lie, I knew that this was Mr Nelson's baby.

Jared got out of the room.

"Thank god he is gone, I seriously didn't like what he just said now, about you darling, you are your father's sweetheart, and your mum and dad loves you very much, your dad is tensed that is why he didn't carry you in his arms, don't worry, you soon get lots of love from your mom and", I said to the baby while I was rocking her in my arms.
