There Is No Turning Back Now Carlos!!!

I was so angry with Carlos that I took the gun out of my pocket and pointed it at him. He knew he may lose his life, but he still lied to me, or was he simply taking me for granted? I was so angry that I took the revolver out of my pocket and pointed it at him.

We headed towards the other side of that place and we asked a few people who stayed there about the village. Carlos went forward to ask the citizens because few if them could recognise me, then it would be dangerous for my life if they knew that I am here without my guards and without any protection.

"Do you know anything about that village? It used to exist, but it's now vanished. Do you have any information on the village? It would be quite beneficial, sir ", he inquired of one of the residents who had stayed there.

I took a back seat and listened in on their talk.

"Yes sir actually there was a village there but they had to move from that place because they were threatened by one of the rich men, he wanted to build a mall here and he wanted the land so he threatened them that if they didn't move from this place they would be dead, so they had to leave this place and search for another place, they asked us help for money because we used to sometime help the villagers here with money, so we all collected money and gave it to them, next morning they left this place, I feel a kind of sad for them", the man replied to him

"Okay so Carlos didn't lie to me, he was telling the truth", I said to myself.

"Ask them whether they've been missing for months," I whispered in Carlos' ear.

"How many days have elapsed since they left this location?" he inquired.

"A month may be", he replied to Carlos.

"That you so much sir, for helping us out", he replied.

"Can I ask you something?", He said.

"Yes you can sir", I replied.

"I am curious to know why you are in search of this village because you guys are the first ones to ask us about these villagers because no one cared about them", I replied.

"I used to help to tutor their children so that's how I know them, and they disappeared so I was worried about these villagers", he replied.

"Okay sir, I am happy that you cared about these villagers", I replied.

We left that place and we headed towards our car.

"Now do you believe me sir, that I was not lying to you and I was telling the truth, because I didn't have any idea that this village would have disappeared all of a sudden", he said to me with a low voice.

"Yes, you were not lying, and I apologise for doubting you; I have lost trust, and because of my past, I find it difficult to trust anyone," I responded.

I could trust Carlos now that I knew he was telling me the truth.

"I know sir, we all have trust issues, amd something's which happens in our past sometimes never let us move on and some teach us valuable lessons, so I can totally understand sir, it's okay you don't need to be sorry, I can understand how you're feeling sir, I heard about your ex too", he replied.

I didn't know how Carlos knew so much about me, it was personal stuffs and it should be kept personal, I couldn't understand who could spread this everywhere

"I cannot return back, because now if I return I will never be able to find my Addison, and now if return home back the spies of my enemies who are hiding in my mansion would be alert and they would have a double about why I disappeared from the mansion all of a sudden and I am sure that they will try to find out anyways by now Jared must have known about my disappearance, because he is the only one who cared about me, so there is no turning back now", I said to myself.

"Sir what are you thinking, are you okay sir", he asked me because I didn't answer his question.

"No Carlos I am not going to return back, and I am not going to take their help, I know some people who work for me secretly, they will be able to help me out here, they are very smart and they are expert in this they will be able to help me out, I cannot let the people from my mansion get to know anything, because there is someone from my mansion who is giving each and every detail that is going on in my mansion to someone outside, I need to find out who is that person but if anyone gets to know that Addison is alive they will try to get to her before me and then they would hurt her, I need to be very careful this time, and I am not going to repeat the past mistakes again", I replied.

I had my spies around the city they always give the daily updates of what is going on in the city, they also keep an eyes on few of my enemies so that I could know their next move, these spies were very smart, and intelligent, no one know about them and no one ever had a doubt on them, they work secretly, and most of my work is done by these spies, Jared doesn't know about these secret spies of mine because I never told him about it, Jared had his own spies and I knew that they are now in search of me, I disguised myself like a normal man so that those spies doesn't recognise me and I could easily search my Addison who is missing along with the villagers.
