Everything Is Gonna Be Okay!!

Carlos POV

"I know that Jared you would kill me, that is why I took good care of him, and I didn't take care of him because of you. I cared about him because he means a lot to me".

Jared had a confusing look on his face, he first looked towards an other direction and then he looked at me.

I was waiting for his reply.

"Why Christof means a lot to you Carlos?", He questioned me.

I looked in another direction and I didn't reply to Jared. I just smiled and I began to look at the baby while rocking her in my arms.

Jared was waiting for my answer, he was still staring at me, "I asked you something Carlos,why does Christof mean a lot to you, I want an answer?".

"I can't tell you this, you are good in searching clues about me right, so find it for yourself. It's like a challenge for you", I looked towards the baby while I was talking to him.

"You think that I would waste time on you, like seriously, I am never gonna do this okay Carlos, my time is precious. I am not free like you the whole day".

I looked at Jared,"you think that I am jobless and I don't work hard Jared??. I work hard, I work more than you. I work three jobs a day. According to my shifts, when my one shift is over I rush towards my other work place and when I am done there will rush to the other. My life is more stressful than you Jared. After work I need to take care of my old mother, she is sick and she can't walk properly. I am her walking stick, I help her out everyday, I work so hard just to pay our bills and the bills for her operation. And now I need to work even more hard to pay back Mr Nelson. Your work is just to take care of Mr Nelson and complete the work in the company in his absence. When there is no work you can return home. You will still get paid, but if I skip a single day at work my salary will get cut, even if I am sick I need to work because I can't afford to lose a job. Today I skipped work so I am not gonna get paid and tomorrow I am gonna get scolded or I might be fired. This is my life, Jared", I looked at him.

Jared didn't say anything, he just looked at me, I waited for his reply but he didn't say anything.

"I am sorry, I shouldn't have said that you are free and jobless". He lowered his head.

"I think Mr Jared didn't do his homework and research properly", I chuckled.

"I am sorry Carlos, don't make it such a big issue".

"No sir I am not doing that, I am not making it a big issue".

"Can we forget what just happened and try to get to know each other,in a positive way. It doesn't mean that I am trying to intorigate you".

"Okay sir, bit for that first you need to stop hating me".

"I don't have a problem with you Carlos, because you helped Christof a lot and you didn't hurt him. So I have no problem with you".

"Okay sir", I replied.

"Can I hold the baby in my arms?"He asked me.

"Yes you can, but do you know how to hold a baby?".

"Yes, I know how to hold a baby, I had a cousin who was a toddler. She used to stay along with my mom because her mom and dad were busy working so my mom used to babysit her, I used to carry her a lot. Don't worry I would hurt this little one, I will hold her properly, give her to me", I placed the baby In his arms.

Jared was holding the baby in his arms in a right way, the baby felt comfortable in his arms.

"She is sucking her thumb", he showed me the baby.

"Yeah I know she is habitual of sucking her thumb".

Suddenly Mr Nelson came out of the room.

We headed towards him

"why are you here christof, you need to be near Addison". Jared took few steps towards mr Nelson

"Yes sir your wife needs you, you should be in there, near her".

"I know I should be in there but her eyelids began to move, it seemed that she was gaining consciousness, so the doctor told me to wait outside as she is treating Addison inside, so that is why I am standing here", he told both of us

"Okay fine", we both replied together.

After a few seconds the other doctors arrived who were treating Addisson.

"We heard that your wife is gaining consciousness, so we are here to treat her", the doctor said while heading towards nr nelson

"Yes there was a female doctor who told me that you all were busy in a surgery of another patient, so you send her behalf of you", he pointed out towards the door in which Addison was

"Yes we had sent another doctor, where is she, is she inside?", The doctors questioned him.

"Yes they are inside", I answered them.

They entered inside the room to treat Addisson. We waited outside for the doctor to reply.

We took a seat and Mr Nelson began to shake one of his legs. I looked at his legs and stared at it "I think mr nelson always shaked his leg when he is stressed. We all didn't know what the doctors were going to say. "They just told to wait outside as they are treating her inside. They will let me know when to meet her". He first looked at jared and then he looked at me.

"I know you are tense Christof, wherever you are stressed you wu shake your legs", jared placed one of his hands on mr Nelson's shoulder.

"I am very tense, Jared, I don't know what the doctor is gonna say", he looked down towards the ground.

"Everything is gonna be okay Christof, don't worry, Addisson is gonna be okay, don't lose hope".

"I am not gonna lose hope Jared, Addison is gonna be okay, she is gonna gain consciousness. I will be able to hug her and kiss her", he looked at jared.

"Yes Christof she is gonna be fine and she will be able to hug you back. You can then live a normal life along with her and your daughter. I will be the happiest person on this planet after seeing you both living happily together", jared gave him a tight hug.

I smiled at them,"yes sir mr jared is right your wife is gonna be okay. You will soon be able to live like a happy fani along with your daughter".

Mr Nelson looked at me,"thank you Carlos, I could find her just because of you", he hugged me.

The doctors got out of the room,"sir your wife has gained consciousness, she is sitting on the bed. You can meet her now, but she seems quiet, she didn't say a word. I guess you should go talk to her".

He got up from his seat, "Jared and Carlos, come along with me".

Jared and I followed him inside the room.

His wife was sitting quietly. She looked confused and she just stared at the well in front of her.

"Why is she so quiet, it seems that she is in a deep thought", he turned around and he looked at Jared and me.

"Go talk to her Christof".

"Yes sir, talk to her, she might feel good".

"Yes you are right", he said to both of us.

He headed towards Addisson and he gave her a tight hug.

"Thank god you are okay Addisson, I missed you so much", he hugged her very tightly while taking to her

Suddenly she pushed him,"get off me, who are you and why are you hugging me!!!", She yelled.

"Addison, I am your husband, you don't remember me??".

"I am not married and I don't have a husband"."Addison, it's me Christof" he said trying to make her understand

"Who are you, I don't know you, please leave me alone".

"I am your husband Addison, why don't you remember me?". He tried to calm her down and make her understand.

"how can you be my husband, I am not married, leave me alone".

"nurse!!, nurse!!, is there somebody here, please save me from this unknown man!!". She tried to call for help

"sir please leave her alone for sometime, she needs to rest, she lost her memory, if you try to force her to remember anything, she might go in coma, or she can die", the doctor said to him and for us

We left the room.

"why is this happening to me, why can't she remember me, I finally found her, but she doesn't remember me".

"I am not gonna lose hope, I will make her mine!!!". He said softly to himself.

Jared caught himband pulled him out from the room In which his wife was.

"She just got out of coma, I think she lost her memory", Jared hugged him while talking to him

He pushed Jared away,"don't hug me Jared, why doesn't she remember me, why????", He yelled.

"Christof gather yourself together", he said loudly by putting both his hands on each of Mr Nelson's shoulders, he shook his shoulders,"you cannot lose hope, gather yourself together, this is not the time to have a breakdown".

"I am not gonna lose hope Jared, she doesn't remember me right, if I try to make her remember everything, and If I fail in that, I am gonna make her fall in love with me again. I won't lose hope.I will make her mine!!!". He looked at Jared and at me.

We couldn't see Mr Nelson in this State he looked miserable and bad, we couldn't see him like that. It was difficult for me to make him understand because his wife didn't remember him.

"No sir, we are just feeling bad for you".

I put my hand on my shoulder.

He caught my hand and I removed it from his shoulders,"I don't want yall to feel bad for me, I am fine. I can take care of myself".

"Okay Christof so now what are you gonna do, Addison is not ready to be with you. She gets restless when she sees you. So now what???", Jared asked him.

He took a seat,"I will find a way to make her love me again, or I will try to make her remember everything. If I fail in recovering her memory, I will make her fall for me again. Just like how she fell in love with me after our marriage. I know it's challenging but I'm gonna try", he stared at the floor while talking to Jared and . me.

"I will need both of your help, will you help me out with this". He looked at Jared and me.

"Okay Christof so now what are you gonna do, Addison is not ready to be with you. She gets restless when she sees you. So now what???", Jared asked him.

He took a seat,"I will find a way to make her love me again, or I will try to make her remember everything. If I fail in recovering her memory, I will make her fall for me again. Just like how she fell in love with me after our marriage. I know it's challenging but I'm gonna try", he stared at the floor while talking to Jared and me.

We both sat next to him, first I wrapped my hand around his and then Jared wrapped his one hand as he was carrying his baby on his other hand,"we will help you In this Christof. You are not alone we both will always be along with you Christof", jared said.

"Yes sir". I replied after Jared.
