Why Does Christof Mean Alot To You Carlos???

Carlos POV

The nurse left, and I began to turn the pages of the reports.

"What is it showing Carlos?"Mr Nelson tried to peep in the files.

I didn't answer, and I kept looking into the file while turning the pages.

The reports said that this was his baby, and they both had the same blood group that was B+, I knew that this was Mr Nelson's baby.

"Tell me Carlos what is it showing about my baby, it's my baby right", he joked.

I still didn't answer and I just kept looking into the file.

"Is everything okay", his facial expressions changed and he had a tense look on his face.

"Can you open your mouth Carlos, and say something, stop looking at those files. Reply to what I asked you", he scolded me

When I Finally spoke, I had a smile on my face.

I tilted the file so that he could see the results.

"Sir the reports say that this is your baby", I had a smile on my face.

He smiled back, he was so happy that this was his baby I could see ths happiness on his face

He looked at me , by raising one of his eyebrows, ``what took you so long to and Carlos!!", He said with a serious tone.

I smiled back and giggled,"sir your baby's and your blood group is the same B+", he pointed out towards the B+ in the files.

"Yes obviously it will be the same, she is my baby. Why won't she be B+, why are you surprised by that", he looked at his baby.

"I felt it was cute sir", I smiled back.

"Okay fine", he looked towards his little one.

She was sleeping so peacefully, she was sucking her thumb in her sleep.

"She must be hungry Carlos", he was talking to me while he was looking at his baby.

"Why do you feel so sir?".

He looked at me, "she is sucking her thumb so she must be hungry" he looked back at her.

"May sir, but if she was hungry, she would start. She is not crying so I don't think she is hungry, because babies usually cry when they are hungry".

"Yes you're right, I think I have to join classes to get to know more about babies. I will then be able to take good care of her".

"The You should join one", I replied.

"I need to make time for that", he looked at me

"It's not difficult to make time",

"It's difficult for me to make time, because I am a businessman. I need to attend meetings and all, so it's difficult for me to make time Carlos' ' he said.

"Okay sir, I will attend the classes for you, and when you are free I will teach you what I learned in those classes' ', I said with a smile.

"Yeah we can do that, this will work out for me. You attend the classes for me and when I am free you will teach me everything that you learnt", he smiled back at me

"Carlos, I am very lucky to meet you!!, he chuckled.

"Sir, it's my pleasure!!!,"I smiled back.

The nurses headed towards both of us.

"The doctors are waiting for you out!!!".

"Carlos can you hold the baby for a while" he handed the baby to me and he followed the nurse towards the doctors.

"How is she?, Is she okay?'' Have she gained consciousness", he headed towards the doctors.

I followed mr nelson.

"She is still unconscious sir, we got to the cause. It's because while giving birth, there was a strain in her head. That was the cause of her going into a coma".

"Are there any chances of her coming out of coma?", he stared at the floor expressionless.

"Yes sir there are chances' ', he looked at the doctors with a little hope.

"She will come out of coma, don't worry he has given her a few injections and we have treated her wounds. She is under observation. This is good news sir, please don't lose hope", the doctor kept one of his hands on his shoulder.

He placed his hand above the doctor's Hand which was kept on his shoulder, "thank you so much!!!".

"Please don't thank me sir", it's our duty to save your wife's life", the doctors smiled back.

"Can I see her??", He stood.

"Yes you can?", The doctor replied with a smile.

Mr Nelson entered the room in which his wife was.

I spent some time outside and then I entered the room in which Mr Nelson was.

He was sitting beside his wife. The doctor had treated her and they told Mr Nelson that she would gain consciousness very soon. I was happy to know that Mrs Nelson would soon gain consciousness and she would be able to hold her baby in her arms.

When I entered the room I saw that Mr Nelson was sitting near his wife, he was sleeping beside her by placing his head in her chest.

I headed towards him and I placed my one hand on his shoulder, I shook his shoulders slightly so that he could wake up.

Mr Nelson turned behind to see who it was.

"Ohh it you Carlos", he turned behind rubbing his eyes

"Yes sir it's me", I bended and whispered in his ears.

"What happened Carlos, why are you here?"He questioned me.

"Sir I am here to ask you if you are hungry, because you have not eaten anything for a long time, you must be hungry, so please have something sir".

"No Carlos I am not hungry".

"Okay sir", I stood and I began to leave the room.

"Carlos wait". He called out my name.

I stopped and I turned behind.

"Can you do a favour for me Carlos?", He stood and he headed towards me.

"Yes sir", I headed towards him.

"Do you know where Jared is?"He questioned me.

"I saw him standing outside near his car, you will find him there sir".

"Okay thank you so much Carlos, can you please stay here for sometime near Addison, I need to talk to Jared, it's really important", he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Okay sir you can carry on, I will stay here for sometime".

Mr Nelson headed towards the door and he left.

I sat beside Mrs Addisson, she was lying unconscious on the bed and there was a monitor next to her which was detecting her heart beat. There were nurses who entered the room who kept a check on her heart beat after every hour.

I sat there for a while, I fed the baby milk from the milk bottle which was given by one of the nurses to feed the baby.

"Are you full now darling?",I was asking the baby while she was drinking the milk.

She caught the bottle with both her hands while I was feeding her. She seemed very hungry as she was nonstop drinking the milk without stopping.

"I know you are very hungry, that is why I asked them to get me some milk for you sweetheart, drink peacefully, if you are still hungry let me know okay darling".

The milk was over from the bottle, I put her head on my shoulder and I began to pat her back slowly, so that she could digest the milk that she just had.

I patted her back for a few seconds.

I then kept her head on my chest and I began to pat her back slowly and with less force so that she would not get hurt.

Her skin was so soft and sensitive.

After a few minutes Mr Christof entered the room.

I was rocking the baby in my arms

Suddenly I felt someone standing behind me, when I turned I saw that it was Mr Nelson. He bended towards me

"Carlos you can leave now, thank you for helping me out here".

"Are you sure sir?", I whispered back in his ears.

"Yes I am sure Carlos, go take some rest, you must be tired sitting here for a long time".

"No sir I am not tired, but if you insist I will leave".

"Yes Carlos please leave, because I want to spend some time with my wife".

"Okay sir", I got up from my seat along with his baby and I headed towards the door.

"Take care sir", I said before leaving.

He just smiled at me.

I got out of the room and I saw that Jared was standing right in front of me with his hands in his pocket.

I just took a seat while staring at him in anger.

I walked towards me with his hands still in his pocket.

"Angry with me because of the DNA test suggestion that I just gave Christof".

I looked at him in anger,"why are you asking me this question when you already know the reason SIR? ".

He took a seat next to me, "Carlos let me tell you one thing, you should never trust anyone that easily, Christof and I have learned this from life. You trust people very easily", he looked towards another direction while he was talking to me.

I looked towards the direction he was sitting,"why are you giving me a lecture on trust?", I questioned him.

"You don't know much about people right, I know that sometimes you trust people easily, but you need to be very careful for your own good, like for example now, what if the tribals actually gave is someone Else's baby, this would hurt us in future because we would take good care of the baby thinking it's us, and we will get attached to the baby, the baby too will get attached to us. In future if we get to know that this is not our baby, it would hurt us really very badly, and it would also affect the baby. When the baby grows up he or she will then question themselves about their identity about their parents, so it would be better to know now if it's us right,m. There is no harm in doing a DNA test. You believed that the baby was Christofs, and it turned out to be true"he then looked ne waiting for my answer.

"I know Jared that it's difficult to trust people, but I don't trust anyone blindly. I know that tribals very well, they are pure and innocent, and they would never cheat, that is why i didn't like what you just did Jared".

"Okay fine Carlos, it's my duty to confirm if that was Christof's baby, that is why I told him to do a DNA test, now let's just forget what happened, or else we will neve be able to move on right".

"I know Jared that you don't like me, and you hate me from the bottom of your heart right?", I questioned him.

"I hated you before Carlos, but you helped Christof a lot, I know that you also protected him, and yes that is for sure if anything happened to Christof you would be dean for sure". He said with a smile on his face staring at my eyes.

"I know that Jared you would kill me, that is why I took good care of him, and I didn't take care of him because of you. I cared about him because he means a lot to me".

Jared had a confused look on his face, he first looked towards another direction and then he looked at me.

I was waiting for his reply.

"Why Christof means a lot to you Carlos?", He questioned me.

I looked in another direction and I didn't reply to Jared. I just smiled and I began to look at the baby while rocking her in my arms.

Jared was waiting for my answer, he was still staring at me, "I asked you something Carlos,why does Christof mean a lot to you, I want an answer?".
