"HOPE"

Christof POV

I left that room in which Addison was.

"why is this happening to me, why can't she remember me, I finally found her, but she doesn't remember me".

"She just got out of coma, I think she lost her memory", Jared hugged me.

I pushed Jared away,"don't hug me Jared, why doesn't she remember me, why????", I yelled.

"Christof gather yourself together", he said loudly by putting both his hands on each of my shoulders, he shook my shoulders,"you cannot lose hope, gather yourself together, this is not the time to have a breakdown".

"I am not gonna lose hope Jared, she doesn't remember me right, I will try to make her remember everything, and If I fail in that, I am gonna make her fall in love with me again. I won't lose hope.I will make her mine!!!". I looked at Jared and Carlos.

They felt pitiful, I could see that in their eyes. "I don't want yall to feel pitiful for me".

"No sir, we are just feeling bad for you".

Carlos put his hand on my shoulder.

I caught his hand and I removed it from my shoulders,"I don't want yall to feel bad for me, I am fine. I can take care of myself".

"Okay Christof so now what are you gonna do, Addison is not ready to be with you. She gets restless when she sees you. So now what???", Jared asked me.

I took a seat,"I will find a way to make her love me again, or I will try to make her remember everything. If I fail in recovering her memory, I will make her fall for me again. Just like how she fell in love with me after our marriage. I know it's challenging but I'm gonna try", I stared at the floor while talking to Jared and Carlos.

"I will need both of your help, will you help me out with this". I looked at Jared and Carlos.

They both sat next to me, first Carlos wrapped his hand around mine and then Jared wrapped his one hand as he was carrying my baby in his other hand,"we will help you In this Christof. You are not alone, we both will always be along with you Christof", Jared said.

"Yes sir".

I smiled at both of them,"with your help I will be able to do this, thank you for helping me in this", I looked at both of them.

"Don't thank us sir, it's our duty to help you, you called me your younger brother".

"Yes Christof, you called me your brother so it's my duty to help my brother".

"Thank you so much Carlos and Jared".

"Carlos give me my baby, I want to hold her". I looked at Carlos.

"Yes sir", Carlos gave me my baby.

I was holding her in my arms, she was now awake and she smiled at me. I feel so peaceful when I see her smile. Her smile is the cutest thing.

I kissed her on her cheeks and I got up from my seat, I was rocking her in my arms.

I went outside to get some fresh air, as I was feeling suffocated inside. I saw her beautiful smile.

I saw the clouds and the beautiful surroundings around the hospital. There was greenery all around and there was a garden near the hospital for the kids who were in hospital due to some kind of illness.

They all were Playing in the Garden along with the nurses of this hospital.

"Look darling there are kids down there playing, when you turn 1 year old you will be able to crawl and if you are a fast learner you will be able to walk darling.

You know I never lost hope,, when everyone told me she was dead and you were dead along with her it was impossible for her to survive after falling from the cliff. I had hope in our love and I believed that she was alive, that's how I found you sweetheart.

I thought of a name for you darling. I will name you 'Hope' darling".

I kissed her cheeks, she kept smiling.

"I love your smile darling keep smiling like this, I will always be there for you sweetheart".

I rocked her in my arms. I then changed the position of holding the baby. I put her head on my chest and shoulder so that she could rest and she could look behind.

I kept my one hand on her head and neck and the other on her bottom. I had read somewhere that a baby likes listening to the heart beats of their mom', but Addisson is not here so my baby could hear my heartbeat instead. I have to take good care of her. I will be her mother and father.

I am not going to ignore her because of my work. She is my darling and my everything now. I entered the hospital, Hope was sleeping peacefully.

"Sir if you are tired I will hold the baby for you", Carlos came towards me by putting his hand forward trying to take the baby from me.

I stopped his, "no it's okay Carlos, I want to hold Hope for some more. She is sleeping. It's better not to disturb her. Thank you for trying to help me, but I don't need any help because I can now take care of her.

"Sir, you named your baby Hope?"Carlos asked me.

"Yeah I named her Hope, why is it not a good name?".

"No sir it's a very nice and beautiful name",

"Okay", I took a seat near jared. He was sitting on the bench resting his head on the wall. He was fast asleep.

"Jared is fast asleep, I think he is very tired". I looked at Carlos.

"Yes sir he is very tired that is why he is fast asleep".

"Let him sleep, don't disturb him", I looked at Jared while he was sleeping.

"Yes sir", Carlos said.

"I will get some food for all of us", Carlos headed towards the exit of the hospital.

"Carlos, wait!! Come back!!!", I said a bit loud so that he would stop.

He headed towards me,"sir you and Jared sir must be hungry, so that is why I am going to get some food for all of us".

"Ryan is standing outside, I have already told him to get some food for all of us, take a seat which is ahead of us, you will get a strain on your leg". I pointed out the seat which was ahead of us.

"Yes sir".

"Carlos, did you tell your mom that you are here, she must be worried about you?", I asked him.

"No sir, I didn't tell my mom that I am here".

"Please tell her Carlos, or else she will be worried about you". I was worried about his mom because Carlos is here for me, and not for himself. His nom cannot walk properly so she needs Carlos help all the time, she will go in search of Carlos.

"Yes sir will tell my mom that I am, I will be back in some time".

"Take your time Carlos", he headed towards the exit to call his mom.

Carlos POV

"How can Jared be so heartless, this is Mr Nelson's baby. How can he say that this is not his baby", I said to myself while heading towards the balcony.

I was very angry with Jared and I needed some fresh air outside. For now I don't wanna see Jared's face.

"Hey Carlos", I heard a voice behind me

I looked behind and I took a few steps forward.

"What are you doing here?"Mr Nelson questioned me.

"Sir I was feeling suffocated inside that is why I am standing here, along with your baby. She will feel better here, after getting her here she stopped crying and she is sleeping peacefully", I said while looking at mr Nelson's baby.

"Can I hold her Carlos", he tried to take the baby from him.

"A..ahhh!!, Please wait sir. I will tell you how to hold her baby. By the way sir do you know how to hold a baby?", I asked him because I couldn't give him the baby if he didnt know how to hold a baby, he could drop or hurt the baby, so it was important to ask him if he knew how to hold a baby.

"No I don't know how to hold a baby", he began to scratch his hair with embarrassment.

"I know that everyone knows how to hold a baby, but I don't know how to hold a little one, because I was not there during my sister's adolescence. So that is why you don't know how to hold a baby".

"It's okay sir, even though I didn't know how to carry a baby. I learned from the tribal old woman, she taught me the right way to hold a baby. I can teach you sir".

"That's great, I want to learn how to hold my baby", he looked at my baby.

I placed the baby in his arms.

"Yes sir, first you have to support the head and neck".

"To pick up the baby, slide one hand under the baby's head and neck and the other hand under their bottom. Bend your knees to protect your back. Once you've got a good hold, scoop up your baby and bring the baby close to your chest as you straighten your legs again", I began to teach him how to hold a baby.

"It's really confusing. Can you demonstrate once, while explaining?" He again began to scratch his hair with confusion.

I helped him to hold his baby. She was peacefully sleeping, and suddenly she caught Mr Nelson's T- shirts collar tight. She looked so cute.

"She doesn't want you to leave sir, that is why she grabbed your T-shirt tightly", I was looking at the baby's hand which was holding the T-shirt tightly.

"Yeah I know, she looks beautiful, she is my angel. My darling, I am never going to leave her alone Carlos", he was looking at her hand which was holding his T-shirt tightly.

"It's okay darling, I am gonna leave you, don't worry. I know you are scared that I will leave you, but that's never going to happen", he said to his baby while rocking her.

He kissed her on her cheeks. "Her cheeks are so soft and sensitive Carlos".

"Yes sir I know, all babies' cheeks are soft and sensitive", I replied while looking at the baby.

"She is the second beautiful thing that happened in my life, I am so lucky to have her in my life". He was rocking the baby In his arms while talking to me.

"Yes sir I know", I replied.

"I was a bit hard before regarding my baby, I know what I said was wrong and I remember my mistake",why did I say such words for my own baby. She is blood and my everything, I shouldn't have said those words", he said to me.

"It's okay sir, but the most important thing is that you realised your mistake. And you are repenting, so it's fine sir. Don't ever leave your baby, she will bring a lot of happiness in your life sir", I placed my hand on his shoulders.

He looked at my hand which was placed on his shoulders, and he smiled, "Yes you're right Carlos. I Have hurted many people in my life, I have said some harshful words to Jared, and I am sorry for that. As soon as things get settled i am going to apologise to him".

"Yes sir, he is your best friend. He takes you as his brother more than a friend or master", I replied.

"Yes you are right".

"Thank you so much Carlos for helping me out here, without your help I would not be able to find Addison and my baby. This has all happened just because of you, thank you so much".

"Please don't thank me sir, I am just like your brother. It's a brother's duty to help their siblings when they are in need, so I had to help you out sir. You have also helped me with the money, that was the thing that I Needed the most. It was for my mom's operation, youm ne outh with that", I stared at the floor.

"Look at me Carlos, I helped you because you were in need. You had to help your mother, you wanted to treat her. That is why I helped you out okay".

Suddenly a nurse headed towards us.

"Sir the DNA test reports have arrived. You can have a look at it", the nurse handed the reports to him

"Carlos can you please take the reports, I am holding the baby. I won't be able to check them".

"Yes sir", I took the reports from the nurse's hand.
