Christof POV

"Are you serious Christof, how can you do this? The manager post is one of the most important position in our company, we just can't give to anyone, I agree that Carlos helped you to find Addison but we just can't give him an important post just because he helped you", Jared stopped and he placed his hands on each side of my shoulder trying to make me understand.

"I have already made up my mind, Jared, I am giving this post to Carlos. He is smart and he will be able to do well in this. I know that he is capable. Trust me, Jared, he is very smart. I know he is too naive but this guy is loyal and we can trust him. Under your supervision he is going to do good", I placed my one hand on Jared's shoulder.

Jared looked towards another direction, he was not happy with my decision.

"Jared, look at me".

Jared looked at me,"Carlos is good, trust me, you will like him".

He lowered his head, "I won't Christof, I won't be able to spend even a minute along with him, I just don't like him Christof".

"Why don't you like him, Jared, he is not a bad guy. He is a loyal and trustworthy person, I want to know the reason why you hate him?".

"I just don't like Christof, I feel he is toxic and not trustworthy. We don't know much about him. You don't know much about h. You just met him yesterday Christof".

"I know Jared because I met him recently and I don't know anything much about him, but I don't know why I have a kind attachment with him. It seems that I know him very well. I can share anything along with", I smiled.

"Hmm okay fine Christof you can trust that unknown man, but I can't. You can be with him", Jared put his hand in his pocket and moved away.

I couldn't understand what was wrong with jared. Why was he acting this way. I couldn't understand why he hated Carlos. Carlos is not a bad person. He is a good person with a kind heart. Why is Jared acting so rudely with Carlos?

I cannot lose my friendship with Jared nor can I betray Carlos. I care for both of them.

I headed towards Jared, "Jared wait!!".

Jared looked behind, "Christof your new friend is waiting for you inside".

"Yes Jared, he is waiting for me inside near Addison. He is taking care of her in my absence".

Jaree didn't say anything, he just stared at me. He then lowered his head.

"I didn't know that you left Addison all alone near Carlos just to talk to me".

"You are also important to me Jared, that is why I am here. I am just trying to make you understand that you mean a lot to me Jared. You are my high-school friend, and I used to always stay together with you. We were partners In crime, I am never gonna forget those days".

"Yeah you are right Christof, I am sorry. You need to be near your wife. She needs you now. I agree with your decision, and I will think about it. I will Carlos if you hire him as a manager in the company. Christof go, your wife needs you. You have found her after so many month's. You need to be along with her christof".

"Are you sure you are fine, and you are not upset with me?".

"No I am not upset with you Christof, go near your wife Addison. Be with her".

"I headed towards Christof and I gave him a tight hug".

"Thank you jared".

"It's okay bro, now go near her".

"Yes, I forgot to tell you one more thing. The DNA results are out".

Jared smiled and he was excited,"what did it say??".

"It's said that she is my baby".

He smiled and hugged me,"I am sooo happy….!!!! For you Christof".

"Now go near your wife!!!".

"Come inside along with me".

"Okay".

Jared and I entered the hospital together.

I entered the room in which Addison was.

Carlos was rocking the baby in his arms.

I placed my one hand on his shoulders and bent down, I whispered in his ears.

"Carlos you can leave now, thank you for helping me out here".

"Are you sure sir?", He whispered back in my ears.

"Yes I am sure Carlos, go take some rest, you must be tired sitting here for a long time".

"No sir I am not tired, but if you insist I will leave".

"Yes Carlos please leave, because I want to spend some time with my wife".

"Okay sir", Carlos got up from his seat along with my baby and he headed towards the door.

"Take care sir", he said before leaving.

I just smiled at him.

Carlos left the room, and I sat beside Addison.

"When are yiu gonna wake up my baby girl, I am just waiting for you to gain consciousness. I will take good care of you. I will take you for dates and we will have a lot of fun together darling. Please wake up sweetheart. I am waiting for you here to wake up. I know that you can hear me. I know that you can understand what I am trying to tell you darling. I missed you so much", I was holding her hand and I kissed it.

She was looking pale but yet beautiful.

I looked at the monitor which detected her heart beats, it was beeping. After dew minutes two nurses entered the room and they checked her heartbeat.

And they also changed her drips, she was put on glucose because she had lost a lot of weight.

There were tube pipes attached to her body which would collect her urine as she couldn't move. The nurses changed that and they moved out of the room.

After the nurses moved out, I caught her hand,"I know you are suffering here because of me, I am the root cause of all your trouble, but Addison I love you so much. I cannot live without you, if anything happens to you I am not gonna be able to live, I am surely gonna die without you. Living in this world without you is useless. Don't worry about our baby, before dying I will secure her life", I said to her u conscious body.

I stared at her for an hour, but still no sign of hers to wake up.

"When are you gonna wake up Addison I am waiting for you to wake up. I am not gonna leave this room till you wake up my baby girl".

After a few minutes Addison began to move her eyelids.

I called out to the doctor. Suddenly a female doctor with a mask entered the room, she looked unfamiliar. I did see her here before.

"Sir can you please wait outside, I think the patient is gaining consciousness please wait outside sir", the female doctor pointed out towards the door.

"I don't think you are the one who is treating my wife".

"Yes sir, but the other doctors are currently in the operation room busy doing an operation, so they send me here. Please be cooperative sir, or else we might lose the patient", she said so calmly".

"Okay...okay fine!!!, I will move out and wait, please treat her".

I left the room and headed outside. I saw that Jared and Carlos were standing together. Jared was now holding my baby, and he was playing with my baby.

They both saw me standing outside, they headed towards me, "why are you here christof, you need to be near Addison".

"Yes sir your wife needs you, you should be in there, near her".

"I know I should be in there but her eyelids began to move, it seemed that she was gaining consciousness, so the doctor told me to wait outside as she is treating Addison inside, so that is why I am standing here", I told both of them.

"Okay fine", they both replied together.

After a few seconds the other doctors arrived who were treating Addisson.

"We heard that your wife is gaining consciousness, so we are here to treat her", the doctor said while heading towards me

"Yes there was a female doctor who told me that you all were busy in a surgery of another patient, so you send her behalf of you", I pointed out towards the door in which Addison was

"Yes we had sent another doctor, where is she, is she inside?", The doctors questioned me.

"Yes they are inside", I answered them.

They entered inside the room to treat Addisson. I waited outside for their reply.

I sat on the seat and began to shake my one leg. Wherever I am tensed I will shake my one leg. I didn't know what the doctors were going to say. They just told me to wait outside as they are treating her inside. They will let me know when to meet her.

"I know you are tense Christof, wherever you are stressed you wu shake your legs", jared placed one of his hands on my shoulder.

"I am very tense, Jared, I don't know what the doctor is gonna say", I looked down towards the ground.

"Everything is gonna be okay Christof, don't worry, Addisson is gonna be okay, don't lose hope".

"I am not gonna lose hope Jared, Addison is gonna be okay, she is gonna gain consciousness. I will be able to hug her and kiss her '', I looked at jared.

"Yes Christof she is gonna be fine and she will be able to hug you back. You can then live a normal life along with her and your daughter. I will be the happiest person on this planet after seeing you both living happily together", jaryed gave me a tight hug.

Carlos smiled at us,"yes sir mr jared is right your wife is gonna be okay. You will soon be able to live like a happy fani along with your daughter".

I looked at Carlos,"thank you Carlos, I could find her just because of you", I hugged Carlos.

The doctors got out of the room,"sir your wife has gained consciousness, she is sitting on the bed. You can meet her now, but she seems quiet, she didn't say a word. I guess you should go talk to her".

I got up from my seat, "Jared and Carlos came along with me".

Jared and Carlos followed me inside the room.

When I entered the room I saw that Addisson was still and her eyes were not blinking. She was staring at something.

She was quite and she didn't speak a word

"Why is she so quiet, it seems that she is in deep thought", I turned around and I looked at Jared and carlos.

"Go talk to her Christof".

"Yes sir, talk to her, she might feel good".

"Yes you are right", I said to both of them.

I headed towards Addisson and I gave her a tight hug.

"Thank god you are okay Addisson, I missed you so much", I hugged very tightly

Suddenly she pushed me,"get off me, who are you and why are you hugging me!!!", She yelled.

"Addison, I am your husband, you don't remember me??".

"I am not married and I don't have a husband"."Addison, it's me Christof"

"Who are you, I don't know you, please leave me alone".

"I am your husband Addison, why don't you remember me?". I tried to calm her down and make her understand.

"how can you be my husband, I am not married, leave me alone".

"nurse!!, nurse!!, is there somebody here, please save me from this unknown man!!". She tried to call for help

"sir please leave her alone for sometime, she needs to rest, she lost her memory, if you try to force her to remember anything, she might go into coma, or she can die", the doctor said.

I left that room in which Addison was.

"why is this happening to me, why can't she remember me, I finally found her, but she doesn't remember me".

"I am not gonna lose hope, I will make her mine!!!".
