He Is Impatient

Carlos POV

"Okay fine Carlos, I would really like to know why you care a lot about me, anyways now I think we should head towards the village of the tribals, can you tell me where the village is because I don't remember the way", he replied.

"Yes sir I would surely tell you the way", I guided him.

Mr. Nelson started driving and I helped him with the direction. I knew the way very well because I have been to that village many times so I know where the village is.

It was now 1:00 in the afternoon and we had still not reached the village of the tribals.

"Where is the village Carlos? It has been more than 2 hours and we have still not reached, are you sure we are going in the correct way, because by now we should reach that place because I am driving without any break", he was impatient, and he could break the rules.

"Sir it's pretty far, It will take some time for us to reach to that place, it's very far, so sir please have patience, we will reach soon, sir can we stop here for sometime because I want to pee, so can you please halt here", I told him stop because I wanted to pee really bad.

"Okay fine but please do your business fast because we can't waste any time. I won't want to reach near my wife as soon as possible, so please hurry Carlos", he stopped the car.

"Yes sir", I replied.

I unlocked my seat belt and the door, and I headed towards one of the bush, I peed for a few seconds and then I headed back towards the car.

"I thought that you would not return back", Mr Nelson said.

"No sir I would never do that, I would never betray you, I promised you that I would help you find your wife, so I will help you because I promised myself that i would not leave your side you find your wife, I am with you in this journey of finding your wife sir", he replied.

"Thank you so much Carlos, I am just an unknown person and you are helping me", he smiled

"You are not unknown to me sir", I smiled back.

"I really want to know how you know me Carlos, I am confused because I have never seen you before and you know me so well that is a bit confusing", he replied.

"You will get to know everything later sir, I can't tell you anything now", I added.

"You that right if you try to betray me you will lose your life because I am going to shoot you, but then you are stl not scared and you are helping me in this journey of finding my wife", he told me not to betray him, because many close people have betrayed him.

"Yes sir because I am not at all afraid, I am helping you with all my heart and I wish that you find your wife soon, and I know that I would never betray you sir", I replied.

"Let's see Carlos if you betray or help me in finding my wife, let's see what happens in the future", he Replied.

"Don't worry sir you can trust me, I know that you are finding it a bit difficult to trust me, but believe me I will help you find your wife, and you will get to know that I am loyal in the future", I replied.

"Okay Carlos, but I am getting a bit impatient because we have not yet reached our destination I just want my wife back as soon as possible and it's taking a lot of time for us to reach there when are we going to reach Carlos, how much time will it take more to reach to the tribal village?", Mr Nelson is impatient, he had to change this attitude, but I couldn't tell him this because he is not close to me, so I don't think he will take it in a positive way.

"Just a few minutes more, we are close to the village, it will just take a few more minutes, don't worry we are close to the tribal village, please be patient, you waited for a day and this is just a matter of few minutes, so please be patient sir", I replied.

"Yes Carlos I am trying to be patient, I am trying my best, be ready because I am going to increase the speed of the car", he replied.

"No sir please be a bit slow, we will soon reach, if you drive fast, anything bad can happen I have a mom to take care sir, she don't have anyone, I am her only support here no relatives, it's just both of us, she is my family so please try to understand sir,

Drive a bit slow sir, we will reach soon", I replied.

"Try to understand Carlos we need to reach to that as soon as possible we can't waste time, I want to see my wife, I don't know how is she doing there, and I don't know if she is okay there, you told me that you have not been to that village for six months right?", He asked me while driving

"Yes sir it has been six months, I didn't have time that is why I couldn't see if your wife is okay there, but I am 100% sure that your wife is okay there, I know that those tribes are good", I replied.

"I don't Know Carlos because I cannot trust them, they are unpredictable, they can do anything, and I don't know how my Addison is doing there I am just so tensed about her, she spend more than 10 months there, I hope she is okay", he replied with a tensed tone.

"Please don't be tense Mr Nelson , your wife is okay, and I know that, I know all these tribal villagers they are not bad, they will never harm a wounded person, they can understand things because after all they are human too", I replied trying to calm Mr Nelson.

"Okay Carlos how many more minutes now?"He asked me.

I smiled and I replied ",just there sir!!!",.

"Are you sure Carlos?We are here?", He said with a joy in his voice.

"Yes sir, pull up here sir, we have reached the car won't go too further", I replied.

"I am so happy to meet my wife", he replied.

Mr Nelson before leaving the car carried his gun in his pocket, I was a bit scared now because I knew that Mr Nelson was capable of killing me, but I know that I am lying and I am trying to help him with my heart.

"Mr Nelson, why are you carrying this gun along with you, trust me I am not lying, whatever I said is the truth, you don't need to carry this gun with you", I replied with a trembling voice.

"It's not only for you Carlos, I bought this along with me for our protection. If someone tries to attack us here, at this stage I can't trust anyone, it's really difficult for me to trust anyone, that Is why I am carrying this gun along with me", he replied.

"Okay Mr Nelson, we should carry on now, but please stay behind here, because if they notice you, they might kill all of us, so please try to understand", I replied.

"Yeah I can understand, I don't follow you, and Don't worry they won't notice me here, you can carry on", he replied.

"Yes sir, you can hide here behind this bush, they won't notice you here", I replied.

"Okay Carlos now go on, take this transmitter with you, I will be able to hear everything and you will be able to contact me", he said while handing the transmitter to me.

"Okay sir", I replied, taking the transmitter from his hand.

I put on the transmitter and I heard towards the village.

The next thing I saw when I reached inside gave me goosebumps.

Jared POV

I reached the office and I headed inside.

Everyone there greeted me and wished me good morning, I wished them back and I headed towards Christof's cabin.

Before entering the cabin I told the new secretary that I had appointed.

"Lisa, I want you in my cabin now, get all the important documents along with you"I said to her.

"Yes sir, I will be there in a minute", she replied.

After a few minutes Lisa knocked at the door.

"Sir, may I come in?", She replied.

"Yes you can miss Lisa", I replied.

She entered the cabin.

"You brought the documents which I told you to get?", I asked her.

"Yes sir I brought all the important documents along with me, you can take a look", she replied.

"Sir, will Mr Nelson join us at work today?"She asked me.

"No he is busy, so he won't be joining us at work today, that is why I am here, and you need to help me complete the pending work here, I can't do it all alone, that's why I need your help", I replied.

"Yes sir I will help you out in checking the files", she replied.

"How is Mr Nelson, sir?, I heard that he is sick, that is why he will not be joining us today", she questioned me

"He is okay, he had to complete some work, so that is why he decided to stay in his room and complete all the pending work, and he told me to check the files of the employee", I replied.

"Okay sir", she replied.

My mind was not at all at work because I was worried about Christof, he had still not left his room, because of that I couldn't concentrate on the work that Christof assigned to me, I just kept turning the pages but I didn't look at them.

"Is everything okay sir?, because you seem a bit distracted", lisa said.

"Yes everything is okay, why do you say so", I replied.

"That's because I have been noticing you for a few minutes, and you have not looked in the files you just kept turning the pages, so that is why I am asking you if everything is okay", she replied.

"I am sorry I am a bit distracted today, I don't know where my mind is, can you complete this for me Lily because I remembered that I got some important work to complete so I need to leave now, will you be able to complete this work alone?", I asked her.

"Yes sir don't worry I will complete this work all by myself, I am used to checking files it's not a big deal for me, so don't worry you can carry on with you important work, it must be very important that is why you seem tensed, don't worry about the office, I will handle everything here, you can trust me", she replied.

"Are you sure lisa because it's just not ten to fifteen files? It will be more than fifty files, and you need to check them properly without any mistakes, will you be able to do it?You will need some help, I am afraid that you will not be able to do it", I asked her.
