I sigh heavily as I step out of my old bedroom door and close it gently behind me. I know they are going to need time and I know for a fact that they are going to need space from the rest of the world. I just hope that Sammy and Josh find the peace they deserve. I look up at my mom who gives me the look. The look of are you going to tell me or do I have to ask? I sigh as I nod my head and motion for her to head downstairs. “I’ll tell you when I tell everyone else.”
We quickly move downstairs where my mom’s parents and my dad’s parents are both sitting talking to one another. Nick and dad seem to just be relaxing on the sectional next to them when my mom sighs and goes straight over to my dad. “Wake up. Katie has something to say.”
