Four Weeks Later: Christmas Eve
The tree in our apartment was up and all of the lights were set to a slow blink as the white lighting slowly danced around the room. I had Katie snuggled close to me and I could feel her cuddling me for warmth under our thickest throw blanket as we continued to watch Jim Carrie’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The family decided that we would do Christmas activities on Christmas Day this year instead of on Christmas Eve. It was the best solution since Josh and I both had to work today and Katie went in with us for a few hours to help them all out. She ended up working sixteen hours today and I know her whole body is killing her right now. I smirk as I pull her feet into my lap and I slowly start to massage them.
