I follow close behind the chief as we push the door to the interrogation room open and then I shut it slowly behind me. I turn around and see former Detective Sloan slouched over the small table in the center of the room and I am not surprised to see that he is holding his head in his hands. What surprised me is what he said to us… “I’ll tell you whatever you want to know.. Just, please… Don’t let him get to my family.”
