"Are you the one taking me to the new place?" I asked Beta Dennis as he pulled his car door for me to enter.
"Yes. So that you don't escape or use your power on our pack warriors. So I have to be the one taking you there safely," he muttered, as he locked his car door and gestured for me to enter.
I rolled my eyes and told him, "I don't mean any harm."
"Says a woman who had the guts to challenge another pack's Alpha territory," he mocked, and I sighed.
