As her heart started to beat faster, Emily was unsure if Andrea had changed her number. She was also uncertain if the rising star would still consider her a friend after all this time. "Hello?" a soft voice answered. Emily sucked in a breath the moment she recognized Andrea's voice. "Hello? Anyone there?" Andrea added. "If you don't speak, I'll hang up." "Wait! Andrea... Its... It's me," Emily murmured. Andrea gasped in surprise. "Emily... Emily, is that really you?" "It is. I'm sorry for calling you out of the blue." "How come you never tried to contact me before? I thought that you had forgotten about me! By the way, why did you change your phone number? I tried calling you for months after graduation, but I couldn't get through. Is this your current number?"
