The flickers of light caught my attention as they multiplied and grew.  The hunters were approaching us. Their faces were covered with black masks so we could not see who they were. Their eyes looked at us with hostility in their eyes, and I could hear my packmates around me begin to move uncomfortably.  My anger began to grow as I watched the smug way in which they moved. My back stiffened but I did not say anything. Slowly, I began to feel Evangeline in my mind. She seemed concerned and for a minute I thought she was in danger before she spoke. “Abraham, what's wrong?" Her voice was filled with worry and uncertainty. She must have felt my emotions.
