My parents return, and they look a mess. Mom collapses in Dad's arms and the rest of us do not know what to do. Mom is always the strong one. She is the head of the family. My aunties always go to her for everything. She is the level-headed one, the fixer. But when it comes to her kids, mom loses it. She has anxiety, and she has told us that in situations involving Rae and me, she feels like she loses it, and she needs dad to calm her, so as long as they are together, she is good.
