“Wait, what happened?” Hailey asked, her eyes wide.
She and Kurt were staring at Eddie and Kalea like deer in headlights as the pair finished explaining the situation regarding Radcliffe and Empress' spirit.
“They both escaped from Hell,” Kalea repeated, her voice grim.
“How in the f**k?” Kurt gawked, completely stunned.
“We don’t know the full details, other than Radcliffe used his knowledge of haunting and possession to hijack the power behind his hell loop. From there, he found a way to break out, and Empress either went after him or her connection to the loop automatically dragged her out alongside him,” Eddie explained, resting his elbows on his knees, his face etched with concern.
“This is crazy. So where are they now?” Hailey asked.
“We don’t know,” Kalea answered
