My body shakes and even though I am pressed against Cole’s large, warm, strong chest, I cannot feel a scrap of heat. My enemy in the morning is now my marked mate and the beta family that I held no grudge against, that before today, I thought had perished within Violet night that fateful night.
My entire world view has twisted and turned so much in the last two days and I cannot come to terms with it.
