Cole stands by my side but just slightly back, like always, he is always my back up and he will step in at any moment when things get out of hand, I know it takes a lot of willpower on his part to just watch things play out.
Every cell in his body screams at him constantly to step in, to control the situation, to keep me safe, to pave the rocky road so that I have a steady and smooth path to walk. I know he feels this way because I can feel it through the bond.
