No you cant! You can't take her from me! I thought, as my paws scratched at the earth, but Abelia had stolen all of my strength. Every bone in my body wailed out in protest as I tried to get up, I felt like I was being tied down by invisible ropes. My paws only collected dirt, as I fought to stand, yet all I could do was barely lift up my head.
"You... can't.. have... her!" I gasped out.
They had descended on us in an instant, and my worse fears were being realized. Richard and Derick bit and hissed, as the wolves surrounded them, they could not break through. Bryan, Sam and Walter soon fell victim to the same fate. The only one, they could not seem to pin down was Thomas.
