The Cursed Eye

I don't want magic, I hate taika "Hey Avaline Abia Lancaster hindi mo ba ako tutulungan dito? Anong oras na tulog ka pa rin!" Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pananaginip ko ng may maramdaman akong yumuyugyog sakin. "Avabil!"napabalikwas naman ako. Uh oh this isn't good galit na sya. Tiningnan ko si ate at talagang galit na sya wala nang sabi sabi at agad na akong tumayo. Im Avaline Abia Lancaster, 16 years old and not studying. Si ate lang nagtuturo sakin kasi ayoko sa school. They will just train me and teach me how my taika supposed to use and they will use me until they can't use me anymore at itatapon na lang nila ako sa kung saan. "Cut it out Abia lumabas ka na jan kanina ka pa eh" napabuntong hininga naman ako. "Yeah ate" That's Acacia Adisson Lancaster, Acadil in short. Aren't our nicknames is unique? Well my mom give it to us kaya naman pinahahalagahan namin yun, kaming dalawa na lang ni ate Acadil ang nagtatawagan sa nickname namin. Wala na kasi sila mommy at daddy pati na rin sila Graps at Mamits. Our enemy killed them. Dito na ako sa Taikanious world pinanganak at lumaki ganun din si ate. This world is where the good mage, wizards, elementals and other good at taika's living. This is the world where I admire the most. The opposite world is the Demonioum World. That world can be seen from here. Lumabas ako ng kwarto at tinulungan si ate mga gawaing bahay, at dahil kami na lang ni ate ang nandito hindi gaanong madumi lalo pa at nagtatrabaho si ate at ako lang naiiwan dito sa bahay. Nakakuha naman ng magandang trabaho si ate dahil sa graduate sya sa Taika's Academy pero hindi ko alam kung bakit di nya ginamit ang diploma nya.  I shook it off, wala namang matinong maiisip ang utak ko eh. After naming mag linis ay nagluto na si ate at ngayon naman ay ginamit ko na ang cellphone ko at nagsearch. In these universe we thought that there is only two world, the Demonioum and the Taikanious but we are all wrong. According to our research there is an another parallel that will lead you to the other world that called Earth. "Tss nonsense" at pinatay ko na ang phone. Three world in one universe? Impossible naman ata yun.  Nang patapos na magluto si ate ay agad naman akong nag ayos ng mesa, ganito naman lagi ang set up naming dalawa eh. "Abavil?" Tiningnan ko naman si ate habang sumusubo ako ng niluto nyang pagkain "Ayaw mo ba talagang mag aral sa Academy?" Tinitigan ko naman sya baka kasi nagbibiro lang pero nang mapatunayan kong seryoso sya nilapag ko ang kutsara ko. "Ate di ba napag usapan na natin to?" "Oo nga pero worry lang naman ako sayo limited lang ang naituturo ko sayo." "Its okay as long as marunong ako magbasa at magsulat walang problema." sagot ko naman at nginitian sya pero mukhang di pa sya satisfied sa sagot ko. "It's not what I'm worried about Avabil, its about your taika." agad naman nyang sabi at bumuntong hininga ako. "I don't need magic ate, I hate taika. Its the only reason kaya namatay sila daddy." "You're scared of death?" "Of course! Sino bang hindi?" "Me." agad naman nyang sagot at tinaasan ko sya ng kilay "There is no permanent in this universe Avabil, everyone will leave this universe, everyone will die." "B-but-" "Still, I don't want to push you so you can still decide what are you going to do with your life. But I'll be happy if you can go to the academy and make many friends, have a boyfriend-" "I don't need friends." natigilan naman sya at tiningnan ako "I don't need them. All I need is you." at ngumiti sya sakin. "You really are in love with me, aren't you?" "Whatever." at inirapan ko sya. In this world, I don't need anyone else but my sister. She is the only family I left, she is the only one who can truly understand what I feel, she is the only one who always there for me. I don't want anyone to be a friend. "Pero Avabil-" napatingin na naman ako sa kanya "Don't release too much energy it might give them an affection towards you." Tumango naman ako, "I know that" "Good then. I'm going to leave later after we eat I still have work" nakangiti nya pang sabi at nginitian ko rin sya saka nag nod. "Sure." "Don't pressure yourself sa pagsasanay ha? Baka masira ang barrier na ginawa ni Graps mahirap na." "Opo" pabiro kong sabi at natawa naman kami. In this world my family is well-known dahil sa pagiging makapangyarihan, I mean dahil sa pagiging malakas. My mom and dad is the head of the patrol while my Graps and Mamits are one of the elders that they respect, my sis is part of a top knight. Though they didnt know about me, they didn't even saw me once. I distanced myself to them. They knew na may mas bata pa kay Acadil pero hindi pa nila nakikita at nakakausap, hindi naman kasi ako nagpapakita sa kanila and it seems like hindi na nila ako inintindi that is good naman and favor sa akin. After we eat umalis na si Acadil at nag hugas naman ako ng plato after nun ay napatingin ako sa salamin and my left hand reach my left eye. This is the reason kung bakit ayaw kong makita ako ng iba. I have this cursed eye.  A different left eye. My family said that it isn't a curse instead a blessing for the whole family but for me and for the villagers its a curse indeed.  I shook it off and go to my room and do my actual training, meditate. "Aren't you gonna use your Taika?" "How many times do I have to tell you that I won't use it anymore?" "Then what are you doing here?" "Training." "For what? You don't want to use it right?" "Yeah." "Should I seal it away from you?" "H-huh?" "I must seal it cause you dont want to use it. And there is no point of using in anyway, Goodbye Avabil." Napadilat naman ako ng biglaan what is she thinking? I open my palm and release some energy to make my power visible but what the hell?! It isn't working! Inulit ko ng inulit hanggang sa maghingalo na ako sa pagod. What is going on? Is she really seal it away? Napatayo naman ako ng marinig kong may sumabog sa pinto namin kaya agad akong napababa.  A demon? I close my left eye. What the hell is he doing here? "What do you want?" walang emosyong tanong ko pero tawa lang ang narinig ko sa kanya baliw na ata to.
