Shopping is one of my all-time favorite pastimes. It shouldn’t be, since I’m not made of money, but I love shopping. I had an unlimited card, apparently, and I felt like this was my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one.
My therapist appointment went about how I thought it would. We talked about Jace and the challenge it was to deal with his moods. She asked me if it brings back memories of Ben and I told her no, it doesn’t, and I thanked God. I told her it was so far from Ben’s authority over me. Where I can walk away from Jace, I couldn’t from Ben. I was a prisoner with him.
