“Ashlynn, I haven’t read this series yet, thank you,” Shay said as she finished opening her present.
I was in the middle of helping her bake for her feast. She invited Jace and I, but I told her we already had plans. I told Jace I was going around today giving my friends their presents. He decided to do the same and I gave him Miles’ present from me. He also said he had a meeting with a friend. I decided not to ask questions and kissed him goodbye.
“I’m glad you like it. I know we both love horror and romance, and I’ve read this series. It’s so good.”
“I can’t wait to read it.”
“Just make sure your child is in bed, and you have the guys close at hand. When I read it I had no one, so my B.O.B got a work out,” I said.
