"What the f**k!" I was startled by the hell and turned to see Alex looking at me with his eyes blazing. He looked shocked, his eyes scanning the room before landing on me and Arthur, who were still entwined on the bed, our bodies wrapped around each other in a intimate embrace.
"What is going on here?" Alex demanded, his voice low and menacing, his words dripping with venom. He took a step closer to the bed, his eyes fixed on Arthur, his fists clenched at his sides.
I quickly pushed Arthur away from me and held up my hands in a calming gesture, trying to placate my brother. "Alex, calm down, we can talk this out," I said, her voice soft and soothing, but laced with a hint of desperation and worry.
