I scream in pain. This is worse than any pain I have ever felt before. Umbra gives agonizing screams in my head.
“Shh.” May says holding me.
“I killed him!” I cry out. “This was my fault!”
“Shh, it’s okay.” She says with stuttered breaths.
“No, it’s not!” I cry and look at her with blurry eyes.
Her face is red and she holds tears back. Colton stands in the corner looking at Leon’s lifeless body. His body shaking and his eyes watered.
May then looks at Leon. “Come on... breathe.” She says. “Come on...”
All of them—except for Charlotte and I— look at Leon, expectantly.
“Come on baby, breathe.” May says getting closer to the bed.
“What?” I am so confused but then Leon suddenly gasps and takes a deep breath.
He opens his eyes and I am not sure if I am seeing
