Tom’s POV
I lived in the Boise area all my life. I’ve worked as a mechanic for several different shops all of my adult life. It pays well, I have the mind for it and I’m good with my hands.
Today was a much needed day off with my girlfriend, Jane. We have only been dating about a month or two. She was cool, but I don’t think she’s the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.
We were out hiking Table Rock when the ground shook. We both ducked to the ground worried about loose rocks falling. I looked around before moving down the hiking trail away from anything dangerous. It was super odd that there would be an earthquake in Idaho of all places.
